Spot!! Spidey 2099 and spot are my 2 top fave science champions. But I took my Spot up to 5/65 as a 6 Star. Love him.

S99 is content master item saver.
Spot is new and dual threat in BGs.
I don't see one replacing other in what they do.

Developed roster won't miss S99.
Under developed roster will tremendously benefit having s99. A champ with 5 hit combo sp2 is much more user friendly.

Comment is directed towards general players, not towards the experts of the game.
Had to mention it watching these one sided comments.

This is more of a question of personal preference really. They both are great. Spot has some ridiculous damage potential but you will take chip damage while you build up to that damage. S2099 will control the fight very well and also has really good damage. Both are tanky. S2099 builds physical resistance when hit, Spot reduces (block?) damage after he gains 1 spot. I find S2099 has more utility so it comes down to whether you prefer higher damage or more utility.

Really good discussion and comments. Thanks all that have contributed to the discussion.
In the end, looks like the general opinion is that they both are good and both have a current place in the Meta. Of course play style and who you enjoy is a factor. It is always good to hear opinions as in this situation it is one or the other.
