Are we going to get more 7* shards from duping a 6* since price went up for 7*

No, the number will not change. Part of their justification for the cost increase is because of the availability of 6* crystals at an increased rate compared to any other crystals in the game. Whether or not it is so significant is up for opinion, but it has been clearly stated that the amount of shards awarded for a dupe will not change.
