    Hopefully they’ll fix it before season starts, either that or everyone just restarts from Tier 22 and has to climb back up 😂

    This has been happening for many seasons now, we always seem to drop a tier in the off season despite doing off season wars and winning a good 98% of them

    Why even play AW when you can rather collect units to outdamage the AW rewards of many seasons with one 4th of July event?

    This is my theory and explanation from another thread. Poster asking why earlier in OFF-SEASON the Tier dropped from 6 to 8.
    Continued with follow-up after they noted yesterday that Tier is now 22 (probably is for everyone).

    So that when changes from in-season to off-season, and a bunch of alliances STOP doing wars for a couple weeks, that would lower the amount of alliances as the DENOMINATOR, thus lowering the # of alliances that would fall into every TIER. Thus pushing your WR-based (but also % based) Tier down lower.

    So all Ally's are probably all showing as Tier 22 right now (mine showing Tier 22 right now also).

    While this will correct itself automatically by the time 2 week preseason is over (and actual season starts), they will (should) indeed have to manually fix it for the first war of upcoming preseason in a few days (to force the denominator to some number such as alliances who did wars as of end of last season).

    **unless calc is determined upon Matchmaking phase, and not from prev war participation.

    And maybe even use that method going forward (using final # of alliances at end of a season for use in the tier calc during whole off-season)
