Why do we have to wait 7 hrs before we can claim the 1st one? Should it not be immediately available.... then every 7 hrs after that???

This is a silly argument. Doesn't matter if "this is how it was always done." At the end of the day, the message for us to "Claim your Legends Celebration Crystal NOW!" was sent incorrectly. So not a LIE, but a mistake. It's a DUMB mistake to be sure, and one that seems to happen a lot, but the outrage seems misplaced.

Kabam marketing makes a mistake and peoples first thought is to attack Miike and Jax like they are associated with the ad that went out in any way

This is fine although disappointing and clarification prior to the event would have helped with the confusion.

As for the comment about the fact that this is how it's always worked... Sure but you guys did change how claiming of the double track event works for those who buy a pass without prior information about it. Seems "that's how it works" only applies when it's not pro player

Unfortunately I believe this has been the way it's been in the past. It probably should change to here's a crystal then the timer starts. Since the timer is different for everybody anyway depending on the first time you log in. Waiting for somebody to post a worn out meme ... We are giving out a free crystal every 7 hours. That's awesome. To be fair, you started the timer at the same time for everybody right? You started the timer at the same time for everybody right?

Calendars never renew for progression changes. Objectives do, but calendars never have. So not sure what lie Miike or Jax would have told you.

Calendars never renew for progression changes. Objectives do, but calendars never have. So not sure what lie Miike or Jax would have told you.

It's not that they lied to you. It's either the message is typed wrong or the calendar was bugged and started early. Submit a ticket to support if you haven't already. That is if you've already become paragon and see if they'll switch it. It's the only way it can happen IF it can happen. No one has lied to you though.
