Rogue's SP1 not stealing health if it K.O's opponent [Not A Bug]

Admins,

If you finish off an opponent with Rogue's Special 1, the game goes into it's end of round animation before she gains their stolen health. She's basically leaving valuable health on the table that could be used in the following rounds. Could this be looked into and possibly resolved? Thanks

This is because all buffs/debuffs immediately end upon the contact of the final hit. You cannot gain or lose health once that hit is applied because of the order of operations. Damage is applied first, then (if the champ survives it) any sub-sequential regen/reflective damage are applied.

    Things that it applies to:
Thorns node in the old war system didn't cause damage from last hit
Spiked Armor buff in Act 4 & 5 doesn't cause damage
Electro's static damage isn't applied on the final hit
Beast doesn't regen if he's in Acrobatic mode and the last hit is in his combo
Quake's reflective block doesn't cause damage (if you hit her while she's blocking but you still kill her)
Guilly doesn't regen on her final hit if she procs a life steal

Regardless, once the opponent's HP meter hits zero, then everything else ends.

Yeah, I'm just hoping that they adjust that.

@Kabam Miike Any insight on this? Maybe her drain can happen during the move instead of at the end?

She should still get whatever life was stolen even if it's not her full steal potential. It's a simultaneous action, as opposed to a cause/effect case like Gilly.

They've adressed this before. Answer was explained fairly well by Dexman above. This is how they want Rogue to be

Hey folks. Just wanted to chime in and confirm that this is working correctly. Dexman definitely explained it well, and I appreciate the input. Since this isn't a Bug, I'm going to close out the thread. Thanks.
