So I’ve now opened to 6* rank 4-5 crystals, one from caps commissary, the other from 8.3, I’m one EoP run away from my 3rd but that’s not the point of this post. My first one I opened up a mutant gem and I wasn’t the happiest, but I figured whatever, it’s my least favorite class, but kitty still deserves r5, no harm done… just to open up my 2nd crystal today after clearing 8.3… another mutant 4-5 gem. I will accept pity in the form of LOL reactions thanks

If you're looking for a fun rankup, Jubilee is very cool at r5. I like how her sig just melts KP with just parries.

Regen on crits, tanky, debuff transfer on sp1, concussion on sp2, power steal on sp3. Reverse control immunity

I have a r5 dani and r5 jubilee.

I can confirm with @Pikolu she melts. Also attuma if you parry only since he removes the parry. I did it for a fun rankup and now I actually enjoy using her. I always have her in my questing team aswell. She has util , lotsa damage plus can convert bleeds to opponent via sp1. Pair with horseman (i never do this) and she is probably one of the top mutants in the game.

Also to add. If kingpin triggers overpowered. He removes I think its 6-7 debuffs? He gains burst PER debuff removed. So its a chunky bit. Especially for bg

Rank 5 !!! Ascended !!! Apocalypse !!!
Is a horror that you don't want to face in BG, plus he's great attacker.
But it's such a shame that almost always it's Kitty who's stopping mutant class to turn into ass class, it's so weak right now.
Most of the famous Marvel mutants already released and have ugly weak kit.

We have plenty of awesome mutants to rank 5 other than Kitty. Apoc, Weapon X and AA are all excellent options.

I got a Mutant 4>5 from 8.3 also. I admit, it wasn't the class I wanted, but no regrets about the decision I made.

Immunities for days, able to tank special 3s, great evade counter, and some pretty great damage output as well.

Sneaky good in BGs too, cause I don't see too many coldsnap immune champs in people's deck, so even though he's not the toughest defender, he can usually deliver a decent amount of damage from the initial coldsnap debuff.
