6* domino have increased critical failure damage, but 7* domino have increased attack so if opponent slips up(most of the time it happens against domino), 7* domino can deal more damage than a 6*

From my own BG experience - a 7* sig 20 domino wrecked me with 2 combos - something a 6r5 hasn't been able to so far. I had no choice and had to use a non-tech that round.
