Lots of options here. Leave up to the 5* alone. Sort of like the 1*. Then 6* and up are good to go.

I really like this idea.
Leave existing 2*/3*/4*/5* Quake as it is, and release the rebalanced edition as 6*.

Yes, release this version as exclusively 6* and possibly 7* in future.
Also 7* herc can be nerfed as his immortality won't pause, it will make him god tier but not broken.
