Does anyone have a current number on how many necro deaths we have done for Road to the Crypt and where to find it?

To be clear, I’m not the only player with a relationship with the developers. There are players that have helped design actual champions in the game. There are players who have worked with the developers on many of the different game modes. Developers show up in content creator live streams to chat about the game. Some players have even been hired by Kabam due (presumably) in no small part to their contributions to the game and their credibility with the dev team. Off the top of my head, Dave, (Karate)Mike, DLL, and jnik were all players who had close contact with and developed relationships with the development team before being hired by Kabam. I just happen to be the one most visible on the forums.

There’s no secret magic trick to gain the attention and respect of the developers. Treat them like people, treat them like professionals, treat them with respect, and everything else is fair game. Although not being an idiot also helps.

The deaths will count in the total but you need to complete at least one run to qualify for crypt rewards.

It might be a day or two after that. But all indications are, should be relatively soon after the end.

I hate to say it, but odds are we won't make the 11M mark. Right now my hope is that (1) Kabam extends the cutoff period past 1/15/2024 9 AM PST (when new content drops) so we have time to die more, or (2) notices that we earned 10.8, 10.9, or however many million we earned is close to 11, and rounds up. Because the way these data are trending, we will end up in the 10M bucket.

If the trend continues, we'll fall slightly short, around 10.8 million or so. The open question is whether or not there will be a big last minute push in the final weekend.

Lately, we've been averaging about 160k deaths per day. To reach eleven million we would need to average close to 230k deaths per day, about 44% more. This is just under the peak we reached in the period between December 8 and December 12 when we averaged about 244k per day.

So it is possible, it requires a level of activity we reached once before, but it would take a very strong push at the end to get there.

I know a few people in my ally have been waiting for the new EQ to drop for the revive/pot deal to refresh. I imagine they aren't alone in that so it's reasonable to think there will be another push now that it's live

Also, on a side note, 10 Million is also a phenomenal achievement… 5k Titan shards, 25% of a Titan crystal, nice and even… 😁
