This Battle ground is nightmare for suicide Mastery users

I don’t have enough good option of damage over time players and suicide it takes time to build to sp1 even with little dof and I honestly think running on suicide is hard. It’s a waste of units that we once used to unlock all this .

This game mode has been out for a year and you don't know how to make a bg mastery load out? How have you not learned by now? This is what's wrong with newer players these days. They don't take any of the time necessary to learn anything about the game they are playing. If they wanted a simple tappy swipey game, there's candy crush out these somewhere.

This is just weird , why you all are just supporting the recent Battle ground meta ? there is a mastery which cost me about 4k units which is equivalent to more than $100 , now Kabam has made act 7 and 8 totally not fit for suicide users and now this BATTLE Ground meta , I can’t change my mysteries every time I play different content of the game and yes right I have life outside the game that is why I can’t read 2000 words of nodes and champs info ,

Aren't you also mad they made you pay 4k units for this mastery and you lose health from it? Crazy right?
What about spite node and dex mastery? Does that make you mad too?

Then you should have been upset from the very beginning as suicides can force you to use only part of your roster as they would be the ones immune to the bleed/poison.

As someone who also uses the recoil masteries, Act 7 and 8 are definitely doable with them.

I made sure mine were off for this meta, and this is one of my favorite seasons so far. Once you update your mastery set in BG, you don't have to keep switching back and forth

Everyone you're claiming supporting the bgs meta isn't really giving a stance on it. We just know how the game has always functioned. "Oh suicides aren't good for this piece of content? Let me switch them off real quick." You're acting like this is something new and local to this one meta of bgs. You already spent around 4k units... Spend some more to get a different mastery setup.... Or even less units (around 100+) to lock in a non suicide mastery and set suicides back for regular game play...
This is like saying hey I bought a Ferrari... I'm gonna put the cheapest gas possible...

You want to win in a COMPETITIVE game mode, and don’t think you need to read nodes and abilities?

And to your other point, you spent units on masteries that are doing exactly what they say they will - place a DoT on self if champion is not immune, lose health on specials, and increase your attack rating.

Not really I unlocked them on 2017 back then it was helpful for act 5 and other stuffs but now it’s useless , my question is why they make such nodes then makes u seven so much in this manner , look at event quest sooting star for example u have petrify , if ur on suicide u can’t do that without spending units, in act 7 and 8 suicide will do more harm then advantage, why this double standards ? What is the use of this mystery on current scenarios? I can’t even play battle ground with this , kabam should atleast gave us different slots to have suicide and non suicide mysteries , so we can play games without switching and spending units and gold . The game has came a long way they should also change how mestries work

I’m sorry for the yelling but the entire first page of this thread is people (including myself) telling you that YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO LOCK IN BATTLEGROUNDS MASTERIES SEPARATELY FROM THE REST OF THE GAME. You’re complaining about a problem that doesn’t exist!

Against my better judgment, I’m going to give you step by step instructions here.

1) Reset your masteries.
2) Set them to whatever you want them to be specifically for Battlegrounds.
3) Go to the Battlegrounds screen.
4) Open up your Champion Deck.
5) In the top left corner of the screen, you will see a greyish-bluish bar with the word MASTERIES on it. Click that bar. (If you need a visual, somebody posted a picture with a GIANT YELLOW CIRCLE AROUND THIS BUTTON on the previous page)
6) Click continue.
7) Congratulations, your Battlegrounds masteries are now locked! You can change your masteries now to whatever you want to run for other content, and your Battlegrounds masteries will remain as whatever you locked in.

FYI I am a 6 year mcoc player. I had to search forums to learn how to do it which led me here. I did not see any in game mail from kabam announcing this.

How is this not a money grabbing solution? Why cant we just set a new mastery setup in bg from scratch. Why force us to do all that stupid steps and still waste precious units instead of a direct simple way??????

Anyway pls don't make ppl feel stupid for asking things they don't know. In the earlier part of the thread ppl just keep saying turn it off without saying HOW. That's the problem! Lol.

So Thank you for this spelling out and it definitely is your better judgement working wonderfully instead of against your better judgement. Notice how there is no more questions?

In any case, I am not gonna spend my precious units like this. I'll just skip BG until kabam has a better "judgement" to stop forcing people to spend their units this way.

The complaints about multiple mastery setup is still super relevant as this seems like bg & non-bg only? What about all the other modes?

What you need to do is unlock a new deck and save non recoil masteries to it, to bypass this issue.

To be fair, the liquid courage namesake and the synergy of Herc alludes to the character being drunk on alcohol, I mean, not a bad way to go into a final battle, wonder what they're drinking before the fight starts.
