Decided to do another run of Necropolis to continue the march to Valiant....didn't go well

My first run of the Necropolis was on the "easy" path and it took me 183 revives. I didn't have Heimdal on my team and everyone said it will go much better when I do a run with him but I decided not to do that. Instead, this time I brought in Aegon, PM, Shuri, Abs Man and Wiccan.
Next time I'm going to have to try a team that includes Heimdal because this run cost me 320 revives.
I was really excited about the run because I got Aegon ramped up to 505 on just 4 revives against Mr. Fantastic, but everything went down here from there. On average I was only taking about 3 to 4% health off of any one defender before being killed. It took me 43 revives just to get pass Air Walker (compared to 21 on my first attempt) and 40 on Captain Britian (compared to 23). The only place that I spent less revives was on the Grandmaster (14 compared to 35 or so).
Now, why am I telling everyone about this...because I had soooooo much more fun on this run than my first one. I think the stress of trying to make sure I got it done in time to get the rewards made every death so much more frustrating.
Don't get me wrong, I still find a lot of things wrong with the design of Necropolis such as the over reliance on unblockable, turning up SP3 by 800%, and GM having an insta-kill heavy, not to mention just bad AI and dropped inputs left and right across the whole game not just Necro. However, overall I'm looking forward to my next run.....in about 4 months after I recover enough units and reviews to do it again.

If part of the fun is building up resources to make another run later, go for it.
Also, I would strongly suggest you try Kate for path 3. Shes pretty easy to get down and saves so many resources. Also for paths on the right, use Aegon with a team built around him. The differences is massive when comparing resource spend from an naked aegon with no synergies and an aegon with Prox, nick/odin, and Heimdall.
Kate and shuri did the whole lane and gm in under 40 revs (no idea the exact cost I did it awhile ago)
