Anyone else facing the problems with point farmers this bg season? I have been finding these huge accounts for the 2nd consecutive week now. I hope this gets solved. I have some photos of the accounts below.

@Siliyo @ahmynuts and that's fine, the thing is is this wasn't as much of an issue 2-3 seasons ago. We didn't have as many big accounts still down in VT, especially not four days before the season ended.
Participation is obviously getting worse after each season and that's why people are seeing more and more big accounts in the lower VT tiers when they aren't even farming cause they're losing interest and can't be arsed, there's no real incentive atm.

You guys misunderstood my comment, I don't have an issue with people who don't play BGs religiously every single day. My issue is participation is clearly getting worse and worse after each season and Kabam isn't really doing anything to encourage people to participate more.

They simply resign a game to lose and continue on same level.

    It happens a lot

I pretty much only play the 3x victories every season, up until the last days when I do a bigger push.

I've started on diamond, 3 weeks ago, and only yesterday I entered the GC. I lost a match here and there but nothing that would make a difference. Playing by the objectives, it takes 3 weeks to reach GC considering you start on Diamond. This isn't point farming, just maximizing your rewards with the minimal effort I guess

If you are in victory track at the moment and have full rows of champs over 30k, you’re just bad at the game

How you can directly accused these player as point farmer. This is ridiculous. Is it just because they are in still victory track?

I’ve matched a few of these accounts already in the last week. So it’s more than evident they’re farming.

The reason why many big accounts are in Victory track iw because they are not interested in playing bgs so they are doing BGs just for milestones since rewards in victory track is not much relevant except for battleground tokens.

Agreed. I'm one win away from GC, BUT I got all objectives today, so... I'm waiting for Monday for the reset so I can grab another victory shield, as well as get the objectives again. Sorry! I'll be here a couple more days.

Please tell me in your own words what reason people would have to do this.
    🙄
It happened with me sometimes at Plat 3,2 and now 1...

Why I would say something that don't happen???

Recently? When they have the expanded rewards I know people used to do this a lot so they could stay in the easy ranks to farm wins with marks, and then throw matches with energy, but not sure why anyone would do this for the pittance of 6* shards in the solo event.

Okay, couple things. First, that’s not a reason for behavior, that’s an observation of isolated incidents followed by a massive leap to an unjustified conclusion. There is a difference between “I matched up with somebody who quit early or wasn’t very good” and “there is a pattern of behavior of big accounts throwing games because they want to remain in Victory Track.

I’m not saying it didn’t happen. I absolutely believe that it happened. I’m saying your conclusion on behavior based on the events you’re describing is incorrect. That’s why I’m asking *for what purpose* would a large group of people find it beneficial to do these things?

Look, last time I will reply to you here.

    More respect please 👍

This occurs after the match is accepted by both, me and the rival when we are choosing the champs to ban

The rival account is much better than mine

Of course for me it's great 🤷‍♂️

    Please guys, keep resigning

When you say it’s more evident, do you mean these big accounts are deliberately losing to you on purpose? And they are doing this from platinum onwards, and not in bronze, silver or gold?

If yes, then you are in luck. You should be able to make it into the GC in no time.

If no, then you are very unlucky that these big accounts happen to want to beat you every time they face you. And that’s probably going to continue.

If both, then you win some and lose some. So even if you can’t progress your ranks, at least you can still get all those 48-hr objectives done.

So, hey what do you know, 2 positive to 1. I guess these point farmers are really helping you and everyone out.

I'm still in Vib 3, waiting to see these big point farmers that wanna forfeit. I could use it! Haha

The only people that have quit out on me all season were at a major disadvantage against me, and I think that happened maybe 3 times in D1.

Other than that, haven't experienced it.

I’m not trying to be disrespectful to you at all, I’m just explaining where you are jumping to a conclusion.

As I said, I believe that this has happened to you. But there’s no reason to believe it’s because they’re intentionally trying to remain in the Victory Track as compared to, for example, something happened in real life at the same time they matched which required their attention. That’s happened to me, I’ve had to quit matches because something more important came up at an unexpected time.

That’s why I keep asking *why* you think that people are trying to stay in the VT. If there’s a compelling reason to do it, then I’d be more willing to say that okay, yeah, it’s happening. But I can’t think of a reason. The mode is structured such that you get the best rewards not from having a high total number of wins, but by progressing. And I can’t see any reason to intentionally not progress.
