The absolute best counter to Winter of Woe Absorbing Man is...

She-Hulk! She's got a slow on her heavy to counter the unstoppable, a petrify on her SP2 to reverse the regen, and if you stack up enough furies, she can outdamage the regen too. If she's awakened, since she's fighting a mystic, each fury also increases the chances for the defender to throw specials (if i'm not mistaken), plus, she gets you an extra point with the gamma objective. Took my 6 star to rank 3 for the fight, and do not regret it one bit! The only issue is the AI is so damn passive, and just goes into the corner, blocking and refusing to throw specials. No special = no fury refresh. In one of my runs, got Abs man down to 4%, but lost my furies, and he promptly proceeded to regen back to 40%. Took countless tries and energy refills, but I finally got the solo on him.

Yup that's who I used. Felt good to push Abs to Sp 2 and not get burned from it lol

hands down for me the best counter was silk got valiant did the other two objectives for valiant players and my r2 sig 45 silk wrecked abs man she is just so good

Doom was really good for Abs Man, just keep doing your doom cycle, and he doesn't throw a single special. No regen, just keep blocking until he heavies, counter, and build up to SP3 for doom cycle.

I used Hulk, mine is only rank 4 boosted but I think took like 7-10 revives. Just get to 1.5 bars of power before the stun lock until he snaps out of it. By then he will use his special 3 and you can start again. Tried healing the first few times but realised it is a waste of healing, so I just went for it without healing. Best try took 25% off him but also had many ‘0’ hit deaths. Save myself some dust and rank 5 materials so I called that a win. Still holding out hope for a 7* hulk one day.
