Best way to R5 6 stars?

I often find myself struggling to rank 5 6 stars because I feel it is a waste of resources. In my most recent case, I finally pulled AA after 7 years and want to rank 5 and ascend him but I feel like it is a waste since I’m only 1 1/4 T4A from a rank 3 7* bishop.

Are you all using your T6CC on 6 stars at all anymore? I know 7* are the future but AA is one of my favorite champions and want him maxed out. Just curious to see how everyone else handles their rosters.

It really depends. I'd say current it's like 85% 7*. But I also have most of the ones I want as 6r5 already.

AA is actually my most current R5. And yes, I used T6cc to do it.

If he's your favourite champ, go for it!
He's well worth r5.

I have 10 6* r5 champs, and I only ranked 3 of em with cats.

Doom, cuz he's doom, and FAM, both of these rank ups are before necropolis and Valiant.

And I ranked up kate with cats because I needed her for necro initial run to get community challenge rewards.

So rank up 6*s with cats only if it's absolutely necessary

I’ve been ranking up only 7* recently. But t6cc flows as a valiant from BGs so I will be ranking up more top tier 6*s to r5 as needed

I don’t play BG much so that’s something to consider with my advice but I’m not taking anyone else to R5 without a gem right now.

I don’t think there’s any non-BG content that an R5 vs an R4 will make a difference. I have 7 6*R5 right now. Three were practical (Doom, Herc, Kate) and 4 were because I liked them (Angela, Omega Sentinel, Jessica Jones, Wolverine).

I may end up using cats if there’s a big need for the boost for a challenge or if I find another champ I really like that’s not going to be a 7* soon or if there’s a champ that really needs high sig but most of the time it seems like a waste of T6CC on a 6*.

If your focus is BG, that may lead to a different conclusion where higher damage and/or more health for defenders may make a difference in winning/losing close matches.

If you're not Valiant, access to T6CC is absolutely hopeless, so you don't have many choices.

As Valiant, the T6CC is quite easily available in BG. 3000 tokens for 25% T6CC selector, and you can buy 5 per week…then its easier to go for 7R1 > 7R2.
