Anyone do any testing of 7* Corvus yet?

If so, how is he? Worth an R2?

Pulled him yesterday but have R/L stuff the next few days so won’t be able to put him through his paces.

I've a 5/65 ascended already. I run suicides, which is the main reason why and use him in AQ and/or war mainly. With them, he monsters R3 red skulls in BGs, but he may struggle without them to take R3 techs down.

Yeah that was my impression as well. More curious as to whether he will work for a BGs size health pool.

I don’t have him but 7* Corvus should be amazing for alliance war and quest. How good will he be for BGs without the ramp up?

I pulled one. The block penetration stat works really well for him because passive AI + crits into block.

Longshot and Omega are the pick of the bunch. Corvus is still too weak for serious content and range is not enough for today's game. Too reliant on charges and suicides.

Yes, but that is an R3 with a full synergy team and a 200% cosmic booster.

I’m more curious about how an R2 will perform with BG size health pools without a synergy team and boosts. Guess we’ll need to wait and see once S18 starts next week. I’m going to hold off on ranking mine until then. I don’t do AW and don’t do high level AQ so his value there isn’t as applicable for me.

I've got an awakened r2 one that I've been using in AQ, AW, and EQ. I don't run cides, so his dmg is pretty bad without any charges. But he's been decent, if given the opportunity to build a charge or two. I'd love to test him out on bgs, but it isn't on rn.

He's great for AQ as you'd be able to pickup charges with relative ease, so he can ramp up really well. Takes the map5 emma minis and cgr boss in two heavy attacks lol (heavy boosted node).

I used him last war (not t1 war, no defense tactics) and he did pretty well. The lane I took had an omega sentinel so I got through that first fight well and had a charge going into the hazard shift lane. The hazard shift lane had a r2 bishop that he took fairly well, and then a r5 kindred which he burst down quite fast too. Then the next one was on the boss island, r5 ascended scorpion on 49 I think, pretty ez fight too. He did well, but I'd only use him if the stars align like they did here with the charges.

Also, he's xmagica so I'm thinking of using him for the paragauntlet run this month. First fight being yondu and third being domino does help, he takes them pretty well.

Thank you @Sachhyam257 - I appreciate the thoughtful, specific, and detailed reply. That is helpful. It does seem that he may have his moments, but those just may not line up with my current roster needs. I think he may still have a place for me in story content, but I think whether I R2 him will depend a bit on how he does in BGs as well. Reality is I already have a killer cosmic roster (Duped Venom R3, Duped Angela R2, R5A Ascended max sig Herc, Hulkling, and CGR) so I’m just not sure he is going to be good enough to merit an R2 unless he really shines in BGs or Story mode.

Yes, but...he can only hit like that for so long, then comes the long cool down / refresh period.
Plus, u have to be running max suicides for him to really shine. Probably good for AQ and AW but not for all these end game stuff.

Thats my 80 sig 6R5 Corvus VS a 200 sig 6R5 RS. This was in Vib2, I'm in the GC now, so a parry stun went wrong...I ranked him up just for this fight in BG.

Of course he's even better as a 7R3...but I don't know if I'd spend that much resources on a 7* Corvus. 7R2 or 6R5 is more than enough.
