Five Hit Combo Results in 2 Bars of Power ... Why?

Please help me with this. Is there any scenario that doesn't include a power gain node of some sort that would cause Absorbing Man to gain 2 bars of power from a simple five hit combo? There are no amount of buffs that would or could be nullified from Absorbing Man of all defenders that would result in 2 full bars of power from ONE five hit combo .... and I am NOT exaggerating. Had I done 2 five hit combos he would have been at an SP3. It was a simple no buff champ (Vision OG) vs Abs Man. And I'm talking about no triggering dex or anything .. the dude was literally exploding with power.

For clarity, this was node 38 in War ... generic placement that I've taken a thousand times and haven't run into any Absorbing Man that gained power like that.

So help me understand masteries or whatever the situation that would produce 2 full bars of power after one five hit combo? It totally altered the way I played the match because he gained power at an astronomical rate. Yes I took him down but geez ... I just wasn't prepared for the crazy power gain.

    Nope. Even if I did .. nope. It was just like this ... fight start .. parry .. five hit combo .. two bars of power. I nearly got cooked trying to get even one bar for myself before pushing him to an SP3 lol

    This might be a bug Absman can gain power from mystic dispersion if there are buffs

    U parried...abs man hit your block, which gives him the power gained from synthesis. If i am not wrong
    Which ability is that? Shouldn't abs man be the one blocking?

    Haha. Maybe in my prime 😌I'm old now 😴. I used to keep a mental map of the old map and numbers and count them when someone mentioned a number

    Yep it's Ebb and Flow knock down and debuff immunity.

    and just a note ... it wasn't synthesis Vision lol ... I just call AOU Vision OG Vision because Avengers lol .. anyway .. so yeah this synthesis thing .. nope.

    The moment it was over ... I wish I had .. going into it though I was prepared for a normal Abs fight but when I saw this stupidity the only thing I thought about was surviving ... couldn't pause to hit record .. I was in survival mode lol

    Just an update ... fought another Abs Man .. same exact node .. same exact champs involved and worked as intended .. no ridiculous power gain anywhere in sight. outside of random dex fails ... the fight played out exactly as it should have from a power gaining aspect.

    which mastery though beyond Mystic Dispersion grants power gain?
