Does anyone know what it means when the node is highlighted like these ones are?

    I think they mean that those nodes also power another node somewhere on the map...? I’ve only noticed it on one map before and wondered the same thing... I could be wrong though :).

    That’s the same thing I was thinking, but it doesn’t match up to the nodes that it shows they’re linked to.

    They are linked nodes. They boost a nearby node on another path. Taking them out will remove whatever boost they provide.

    visual glitch. I have it sometimes brighter than others. restart the game and it goes away.

    It's been answered, they are linked nodes. Press the little triangle logo on the bottom right (second from bottom) and see where all the linked boosts go
