Why so expensive

Why is the 6star deathless gem pic so high in incursion artifacts it’s ridiculous. It’s the last pic I need but can’t get so guess I have to waste 2000 units next year to get it.

150k artifacts is not all that expensive. Sure, if you're starting from zero it can be difficult to get all at once, but if you know you're going to be spending those on Deathless pieces you shouldn't be starting from zero. There's, by my calculations, 43002 artifacts available in sector 5 and 51614 in sector 6 if you only go up to zone 15 (if you go all the way up to zone 20 there's 92997). It is actually possible even starting from zero to get all 150k in one incursions cycle, but of course you don't have to do that. You could get as much as possible now, and then go again in a couple days when Incursions resets. Doing it all in one cycle would be difficult, but doing it in two is only moderately difficult. And of course anyone trying to farm artifacts for deathless pieces would have had more than just two cycles to do that. Getting 150k in three or four cycles becomes borderlines trivial.

You have 36k now. You need 114k. You can split that into two separate cycles if you start right now, and only need 57k per cycle. Given how many artifacts are available, you don't even need to reach high zones to achieve that. You just need to put in the time and get decent runs in a few sectors in back to back cycles.

Well then, if you don't play incursions, then yes, you won't get it.

The Deathless champions are pseudo end game content. There are two tiers: the 7* Deathless and the 6* Deathless. The 7* versions generally require doing end game content to get the pieces for them. The 6* versions exist to allow players below end game but at a high level of play to earn them by just doing reasonable levels of effort across multiple game modes. If you do not wish to participate in those game modes, then you are unlikely to be able to get the 6* Deathless champs.

The problem is not that the pieces are expensive, the problem is that you are unwilling or unable to participate in the requirements. That's your prerogative, but then you just won't get these optional game rewards, or have to pay through the nose to get them. They aren't expensive if you are willing to earn them. But everything is expensive for those unwilling to do what it takes to get them.

How many Artifacts did it cost for the prior 2 Deathless champs 6* pieces ?

If they were the same cost, then they’re being consistent.

@DNA3000 pretty sure even highest incursions tier can do sector 4 5 and 6, meaning he wouldn't have to go all the way deep into sector 6. I need 50k incursion artifacts for my next incursions crystal but I just need to wait till refresh, do sector 4, and sector 5 up to zone 8.

i picked 5 and 6 to calculate because in the current cycle the top three are 5, 6, and 7. It was just easier to calculate numbers for 5 and 6 this cycle and presumably repeat those next cycle, although other opportunities and options exist than that. The idea was just to show it was possible, not the optimal path (because in part there's no way to know what the optimal path is without knowing how strong the player is and how high they can go).
