Alliance War worth it?

I have been checking rewards for Alliance War and it got me thinking that is it worth doing this Wars? We do planning and strategies to win Wars. We spend Loyalty and Units to buy and use resources however a month of performing this activity at the end what do we get as rewards depending on ranking is not even helpful to rank up even one Champion which is worse as compared to the time and resources we spend. As far as remember Alliance War rewards were buffed for higher ranking Alliances like Masters so in short we have "Rich get Richer" node for Alliance Wars.

So please let me know what your view on this.
