Five star crystal changes

There are some crappy consequences of the five star crystal changes. I know the community doesn’t want to hear me whine, but....
I have been saving five star shards for a new high prestige champ when he or she comes out, those shards just lost considerable value. Since duping a new champ became harder awakening gems just went up in value... whoops I used mine because i knew I was saving five star shards for a new champ... now I just have one... cosmic.
It also just became much more expensive to bump your prestige up for top tier players. I feel like this was an announcement that should have come with a longer lead time like 3-4 months instead of weeks.
