And this is why we miss Jax. No word. Another wonderful lack of communication. Make the forum pretty and ignore the issue ticking off the player base.
They provided an update yesterday and clearly specified it would take at least a working day to redo. By my math, that places it on Friday to roll out. The improvements to the forum have been necessary since before Jax and Mike left.
And Jax/Mike would have had the same issue. They would have kept updates close to their chest and not made promises/dates until they were sure things were going to move out at a specific time.
KabamDORK kabam pinwheel What about the unfair compensation of those getting complete raid rewards without spending 180 tickets again!! Those who payed and played are being robbed by you whit this compensation
There are some battles not worth fighting. You can't give everyone the extra rewards because that would take forever with pulling data and whatnot, and do you really want them to be spending a lot of time taking back those rewards instead of the million other things that need done, like fixing bugs? You aren't being robbed by anyone if someone else was able to grab raid chests and you couldn't.
Really?? I am now robbed of 180 raid tickets. If we had not enlisted and didn't pay the tickets, we still would have got all of the raid rewards. How can you stick your head in the sand like that. I don't need the rewards again, I want the 180 tickets back
You do realize what the 180 Tickets buy, right?
I know you’re just trolling @Jonnathan05 here @GroundedWisdom. I think you’re honestly a smart guy and understand the point he’s making.
The point he's making is moot. The Tickets are used to buy entry to earn the Rewards they're giving us. They took it one step further.
His point is that some alliances are being given rewards for Raids without having to do the work or spend those tickets. So all alliances should be refunded the tickets they used to enter Raids if we are giving some alliances rewards for nothing.
Oh, I got that implication. That's just being sour that someone else is getting something.
No, it’s really not. It has nothing to do with being sour about someone else getting something. They totally deserve to get their rewards. But the rest of us got those same rewards and had to pay for them. I think we should get the tickets we spent refunded is all. That would make it all square.
There is no such thing as a totally fair situation when bugs and glitches like this occur. If Players are upset they didn't get something for the Tickets they spent, that's valid. If they're upset that Kabam gave the same to everyone to make an unfortunate less unfortunate, that's just bitterness. I'm sorry.
You are stubborn. lol. I understand sometimes things in life are unfair. I don’t see how you can argue the point though that refunded the Raid tickets to all of us who used them to make the situation as close to even and fair as possible, can be a wrong decision. It’ll never be completely even and fair because Kabam cannot return to us the time we used to actually play the map in Raids to get those rewards. But to try to make things as close to fair across the board, they can and should return the tickets used by all alliances who played Raods last week. I expect you’ll just disagree with this point @GroundedWisdom for some reason, no matter what I say. My point though has nothing to do with bitterness to those who received the rewards when they were shut out of the event by Kabam. As I already said, they should receive the rewards. My point is just an attempt to have things reasonably square across the board, and I think it is something Kabam can do pretty easily if they wanted to do it.
I’m almost always an optimist. The AQ/Raids issue has been going on since September 2nd. At this point my expectations with this are so low I would be fine if they just said scrap the comp let’s move on.

I agree that the expectations at this point are disappointingly low, but the only reasonable alternative to the current comp plan is increased comp for the delay.
Hey folks, following along with the teams progress and trying not to bug them too much for status updates on this and it looks like we should be in a position to send this out today. As mentioned before to fix the issue with the comp we had to rebuild it and then that rebuilt one required testing to try and prevent the same issue from happening all over again. That testing was being done yesterday and was why it did not go out in the afternoon/evening. So, now that its done, Im hoping its not too long now before it goes out today. However it is still early here so will need to be just a little more patient. Y'all have already been incredibly patient so far and we are extremely thankful for that.
And how about any news on increasing the comp to include a refund of Raid tickets to those alliances who had to spend them to get into Raids @Kabam Pinwheel ??

I love how this was posted right after I complained about communication in a different post and then y'all tried to gas light me, like they are doing a good job communicating. He said, a few hours, yesterday morning, then didn't post any update until this morning. I don't know about you, but 20+ hours is more than a few and it only takes a minute to post an update saying, "it's taking longer than I thought, sorry"

I’m guessing you are neither a Dr. nor a funny guy.

Why are you hating on me? What did I do to deserve your ridicule? You don't even know me.
There won't be any changes to what's already been previously announced for the comp, no
Any particular reason?
Images I’ve seen of compensation( using this word loosely as we had access to nothing for the week) doesn’t include any raid tickets.
As a map 8 runner that means we are now 32 raids tickets short which at a cost of 8 units to replace = 256 units.
With regards to the 180 raid tickets people who couldn’t join but got to keep and get completion rewards this would cost a whooping 1,440 units to replace (8units x 180 tickets).
Raids is also commencing again a lot sooner which means despite the drop in raid tickets required to 90 a lot of people will have to dip into their resources to obtain enough tickets.
Appreciate that other resources apart from units can be used to purchase tickets but regardless the material benefit of 180 tickets retained by people who couldn’t join is significant and needs addressing/ acknowledging to draw a line in the sand with regards to this matter.
Struggling to understand how data has been pulled to establish who couldn’t join to provide raid completion rewards, yet the same method can’t be used to provide 180 raids tickets to who could join.
At present it appears that are worse off from actually being able to play raids.

If they increase the compensation that will take another year to actually deliver that in game, which in turn will need bigger compensation for further waiting and the cycle will continue..

So at the end of the day, the long awaited comp for the issue is ultimately less than what we would've actually earned had things not gone south. That is disappointing.
From Kabam Dork in a different post about 10-15 minutes ago.
"We ARE here, and we are NOT ignoring you. We simply don't have an update yet, which of course is an update you don't want to hear, but when we have an official announcement for it, you'll see it in the usual spot."

It’s nearly 3pm pacific time for Kabam ….on a Friday. We aren’t seeing anything until Monday at this point.
