In my opinion, a 1.5m rating shouldn’t go up against anything more than a 2.5, they should do rating based matchmaking, a 1.5m should NEVER go up against a 5m, that way bgs becomes purely skill and deck based, not rank based, because you can make it to diamond “ like me” by just getting forfeits and if your lucky win the match. ( e.x, I’m a 1.5m player, I took a yr break and just got back this last month. My most recent bg match was against a 6m rating, his profile with r3 7*, my best is a r4 nick, and 4 r1 7*, 2 matches before that one I was able to beat a 2.6m, with his best being a r5 6* A1 Claire, I only won because it became a skill based match instead of my opponent getting the easiest defenders of his life, and me doing a fight as if I was in act 7 again,) battlegrounds should be hero rating based.

While everyone is allowed an opinion, yours is wrong.

I wish thet would delete the total rating stat from the profile, it does nothing and confuses a lot of people to think its important...

The main problem we are facing is that higher ranked players are constantly quitting matches to stay in lower sections. Making there access to more champions with higher ratings the winning factor.

How do we solved? Restrict anyone from playing who quit 2 matches in a row that are 1 win away from moving up.

You don’t understand what I’m proposing, yes, getting 7* is better then getting 6*, but getting 7* every season isn’t going to make the game challenging, they shouldn’t nerf bg rewards, and I don’t agree with the realm event, but what they should do is have a solo event but based on hero rating, I just want a mode that is purely skill based, not who has better champions

Tons of complaints on non-fair matchups.
Since you cannot fix matching, here's an option:

1. Bypass champ ratings and sig abilities.
2. You only choose champions, not their stats.
3. When the game is on, all selected champions become 6*, r5, sig 200 for both players.

That will make the game fair and you can match-up anyone with anyone. Skill wins.

Variant 2:
get rid of players' champs decks.
Each season Kabam determines what champioms are participating: make it 50, so people could choose 30.
That way overpowered champs like bullseye, dust, serpent, fut antman can be banned by default for everyone

Variant 1 point no 3.. so whats the point of players ranking champs... for other content bar BG? So should kabam also decide and restrict which champs for AQ, AW defence, AW attack, Incursion, EQ, story, everest events...

Variant 2 point no 3.. no champs are overpowered.. either you don't have the skill nor the champ to counter

i cannot believe that a player in bronze is only ever facing accounts much larger than them and never facing accounts similar or smaller.

yes it will happen but they will certainly get a mix.
it just has to happen.
there is a mix of all account sizes in the brackets.
also as the season goes on the volume of larger accounts in the lower brackets will decrease and therefore you have a higher chance of finding smaller accounts to match with.

and if this is a problem that gets worse once they hit gold or something, then OH WELL
such is life.
you have clearly climbed to the point where you are no longer going to be able to proceed unless you grow your account.

if you are a small account, focus on other areas of the game to grow your account and accept that bgs will be very difficult for a small account.

you build a roster, and you climb as high as your roster and skill takes you.
when you fail, you look to improve one or both.

roster building is the primary aim of the game. you can't just say that means nothing now

New season, new unfair BG match-making thread. Most of the negative feedback comes from the sheer number of threads we see on this issue. Players are frustrated on both sides. As a Valiant and someone that's already in GC since Friday, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows on my way through VT and into GC. We face decks that are bigger and better. It's the nature of the game mode.

With that said, Kabam has stated they want more people playing the game. They have already tiered all the offers and freebies at Paragon and above. At some point, make a BG's with a hard cap on progression. You could restrict BG's to UC/Paragon and TB/Valiant. Anyone below UC can access BG friendlies but can't participate in the season. For rewards, TB/Valiant remain the same. For UC/Paragon, knock one rarity off of the rewards (i.e. 7* shards become 6*, Titan shards becomes 7* shards, T3 cats become T2 etc.). You could leave currency the same since they are already locked into their own progression in the store.

Will there be complaints from UC/Paragon still? Sure, but the typical response of, get better, still applies. Hone their skills while earning rewards that are meant for their tier. At least they can enjoy the game mode instead of being fodder for the higher progression levels.

I think most players faced accounts out of their league or at least a bit better then theirs, as for the VT the best option still is to have the patience to wait until the strongest players moved to GC, it gets easier when the weeks go by.

For me it is not frustrating to get demolished by an account out of my league but to lose close matches because of my mistakes and wrong choices, but that only makes me want to improve skills and roster. also not getting the champs you need in the deck to draft can be annoying.

But one thing i really would like to be addressed: If you need only one medal to move to the next rank and win the match and therefore earn two medals you should start the next rank with already one medal in progress. Has this ever been discussed?

I remember when I was a TB/Paragon and constantly faced accounts far stronger than me. While it was frustrating at the time, I can look back at it and see that it helped me. Facing stronger accounts forces you to improve your skills more than you otherwise would.

I assume you still have plenty of story content you can do. Focus on growing your roster and improving your skills. Not trying to be harsh, but there comes a point where you hit your limit. Not everyone is meant to get to the GC, let alone Diamond-Vibranium
