After downloading update, IPAD Pro cannot load the fight

I can hear the sound, but the screen keeps freezing with flashes. I would like to ask Kabam, Do you have a test team???

Just shared an announcement, we have a hot fix coming soon to address this issue. In the meantime if you're on iPad we recommend not updating if possible.
What about those that already updated though? Like i updated when saw it as wanted to test the buffs try them out and i have to use the recording on my ipad just to do fights
Someone posted a workaround earlier in the thread, its not ideal but it does allow you to play in the meantime while we work to get this out hopefully in the next couple days

Thanks for the info but seriously... the workaround is screen record all our gameplay for the next 2 days? hopefully??. what the hell.

Also, how was this missed by the team? it is a game breaking bug, in a very common apple device with the shortest load times for BGs, in the BG anniversary release!!

Not only Ipad Pro, this issue is reported for multiple ipad models & iOS.

What about objectives for the daily objectuves for the October battle pass, since iPad can't do this will we lose the rewards due to it not working or will we be compensated for losing those due to the bug.

47.0.1 has been available for iOS for many hours.
Sometimes your “auto-update” or App Store automatically recognizing an update is available, does NOT register it early on, all on it's own.

You may have to specifically click on the app in the AppStore, that tends to “trigger” it to fetch it's current status of whether an update is available.

I tried several times in the App Store. My only option is to click on the open button which opens up the game, but the fighting mode is still flashing. I never got the chance to update it myself because it auto updated with the bug.

If you DON'T click on the OPEN button in pic, but instead click on the image, game title, or game icon there.
And then goes into the details of the game.

Does is switch over to knowing an update is available.
Or ie, what does the Version # say when you go into that above ?

Getting the same issue today but only AFTER 47.0.1 was installed. Getting close to quitting this game due to the high number of bugs affecting gameplay.

These bugs should be tested before release, we aren’t your beta testers 🤨
