The first Realm Event has come to a close, and with it, we have our first-ever BASTION Summoner out in the Battlerealm.
A huge congratulations to Vern from GT40 for opening 183,602 Crystals... that's (checks notes)... a lot.

Does Bastion become the next progression level after Valiant or is it it's own thing?

It is a special title, like the Legendary title or the Mythic title. It should show up on the player's profile just like the Legend title.

I know a lot of the members in that ally but never heard his name mentioned even once prior to this. But they must be a whale if they beat a f2p hoarder like Brian who would've been hoarding for a while.

Ngl , Whales ruin the fun of competitions like this. Im sure the community would've much rather prefered Brian to have the title instead.

@Vern congrats! Nice work on this event. Just shows how many hoarders there were. Never realized someone had close to twice the amount of what I opened. Kudos to you!!!

How can I check what my final rank was? Didn't get any message and the event is already gone from the completed tab.

Brian would not have cracked the top 20 with his crystal openings, as massive as they were. He opened less than half of what I did.

I don't know how much spending Vern does, but a gigantic chunk of both his and my openings came from solo crystal shards. You don't buy those. I converted 47 million, and Vern converted 60 million. That *alone* would have beaten Brian.

Brian is famously slow to open crystals, but one thing he is not is a consistent grinder. Not really a big time arena grinder, and not really a solo objective grinder as far as I know. If you haven't been consistently completing those 7hr and 22hr events for many years you had no shot at the top of the leaderboard. Spending helps, because spenders don't have to open lots of crystals the rest of us do: gold crystals, many lower champion crystals, etc. But you can't get there purely by spending. It would take hundreds of thousands of dollars of crystals (even buying valueless cheap crystals just for the crystal count it would take tens of thousands of dollars) to break into the top ten with nothing but spending, and no one spends that much money on crystals and doesn't open them.

To get to the top of the leaderboard required three things:

1. Play a ton
2. Hoard crystals
3. Be willing to spend dozens of hours opening them all at once

Spending can only help with the second one: allowing you to hold crystals and not open them in theory. But to get them in the first place, you needed to pile up a lot of activity for a very long time.

When rewards went out they were placed in the reward stash. Rewards for rank and milestones list the rank and/or milestone on the rewards in the stash. But once they are claimed, that information is gone. You have to check it before claiming.

Is there a list of what the rank titles were? I've got the "Won For All" for the final milestone, but can't seem to find one for the rank title rewards (I opened a bit over 10k crystals)

If you opened 10k you were definitely in the top 10%, so you got all of them.

They mean that the new Bastion title is strictly that, a TITLE only.
Earned from top spot in these new Realm-wide Milestone Events.

As compared to STORY PROGRESSIONS, which are based on your Story progress, aka ACT's (Acts 5, 6, 7, 8, etc) like what you asked about Valiant.
Even though Valiant is also a Title, it is only a Title because of your Story/Act progression of the same name.
