A weird Onslaught Interaction

I was doing the shooting stars event quest and in the first quest there is a Jabari Panther. I just recently got Onslaught after about a year of trying. I thought he would work great for her, just R4 him so I was feeling confident.

But as soon as I tried to parry, my stun don't land. I thought the parry stun will be purified and and reapplied to her as passive but all my parry just got purified. I will pin both champs ability as well from Auntm.ai.

Jabari's ability - when a champion with cleanse is inflicted with debuff, it is immediately "PURIFIED" and cleanse is removed.

Onslaught's ability - if a personal debuff or stun from the parry mastery is "PURIFIED" or prevented due to a debuff immunity, re-inflict the debuff with a passive.

Onslaught’s purify-punishing ability doesn’t work against cleanse. It’s intentional and just how he works. Yes most purify-punishing abilities like Bishop’s energy damage burst and Dust’s sand passive gain do work against cleanse, but Onslaught’s simply does not. I’ve long since argued that Kabam needs to adjust his text to properly reflect that but they don’t seem interested in doing that. It is what it is unfortunately.

Onslaught won't work against cleanse champs.
