Probably the worst monthly side quest this year.

1. Just one difficulty tier,
2. Super limited champs you can use,
3. Unclear rewards (nothing mentioned in the "rewards" tab in the quest selector) especially for exploring EVERYTHING,
4. Too many typos on the original Kabam announcement making it highly confusing.

It's fine I guess, my only issue is with the limited number of champions we can use. I only played the game for 1.5 year- on and off and I don't have a lot of counters for like say abomination who just melts my a$$. I'm dreading to face bullseye or onslaught in the 2024 one😑

Only thing I "hate" is not being able to complete the chapters now due to the riddiculously low Mysterium cap. But that one's on me. It's objectively nice and easy SQ

Tend to agree with this, but I’m also wondering why we can’t find a happy medium somewhere between last month’s byzantine “do a bounty to get a bounty to do another bounty to get bigger bounties” quest versus this month’s very straight line simple SQ.

So an event that is relying on having a deep roster? Dumb. And fighting 7* champs? Idiotic. Yes I want to waste time fighting that high of a tier character fir every fight when I am limited to the particular year for who I can use. Not even base 7* but kabamed ones. Sure what an extra 200% attack when they are already superior to ranked up 6* champs. Kabam developers need to learn balance for fights. This is an issue with all game modes.

Came here just to verify it's just mysterium rewards. As a paragon the mysterium store is basically beneath where I'm at. I'll do enough to get banquet tickets when they refresh but not really worth my time to grind through with a couple r3 6* to buy 2500 6* shards from the store. The objective was easily completed by auto fighting with a 2015 champ. Back into act 8 for me this month or 6 weeks.

I'm just saying it's not worth my time if mysterium is the only reward. The mysterium store for paragon is not great and maybe I just suck but I'd need a few revives to get through any of the paths. Maybe the valiant store has better stuff.

It kinda is fair, if you factor in that this quest is a monthly reward, while Act 8 ran for over a year, so the reward for SQ should be 12-14x lower

If you need revives for SQ paths, you are beneath the rewards.

It’s straight forward fights with no ridiculous nodes that counter every mastery and skill. It’s great!

It’s great they simplified the side quest but time is more valuable to me.

Are you sure it’s 45k a week? It’s a 9 week long quest and we got 6 chapters. 2014-2019. 5 more years worth of champions remain so guess another 5 chapters. That’s 11 chapters over 9 weeks which comes up to 27500 per week which is what we have been getting every week.

I’ve just completed 2014-15 without any problems, but the next 2 years look like hard work for my roster but at least I’ve got time to rank up a couple of champs.

Yep it’s terrible. Those saying it’s good because they don’t have to try and can complete without thinking. Wtf. I play the game because i want to enjoy it. And for it to be interesting.

The only things I struggle with in this month's SQ are how limited our champion selection is and a combination of high block damage and long fights.
I have many good, high ranked champs but I can't use them for the side quest. Instead I'm limited to 6* R2 champs for at least 3 of my champs. With the defenders having such large health pools, I'm losing an attacker per fight. Even trying to evade as much as I can to avoid block damage, I still end up having to block sometimes and 6* R2 just don't hold up long.

This hasn't been too rough so far because I have team revives in my stash getting close to expiration so I'm only using resources that would otherwise expire. I'm hoping to have access to higher ranked champs in the weeks ahead.
