Who is the most scariest defender?

Planning to r3 either one of them, primarily for bg defense, already have a r3 bullseye.

So who do you hate fighting the most? Assume both are sig 40.

I didn't vote, cause I don't think I really know the answer, however I did have a same dilemma before.

So for me, I still struggle to Dex Korg SP1 and not great Light intercept on demand, so he is still troublesome for me, but I also understand in thw hand of a high skill player any champ can counter Korg.

While Attuma, there are a few champs now that hard counter Attuma with minimum skills, but without those counters, you guarantee damage back no matter how skilled.

So they both have their pro and con.

However for a player at my level, ranking up resources (especially R3) at highly value and I can't justify using it on a pure Defensive champ only. Even those the like of Onslaught, Serpent and Bulleyes are most feared on Def, they are also have their use on Attack too.

Based on that I would rank up Attuma, since he also have Attack value too. But that is just my opinion

If we completely ignore attack value, attuma is definitely better on defense, I have r2 korg but no attuma

I got a 100 sig R3 Korg. My 20 sig Attuma stays at 7R1. But, if your opponents got a NTW, they are both useless on defense.

After playing this game since 2016, I still can’t dex Korgs sp1 🥵

You can counter the unstoppable by parrying him. For Jessica, don't throw specials I guess?

Korg gets on my nerves. I hate fighting him the most because of his immunities, and having to remove those damn rock stacks before you can do any serious damage. I usually use Shuri for him. Her crits break him down.

Attuma can be handled by Mutants who inflict extra stun when first stun is purified, like OG Storm, Storm PX, Bishop, etc., and by Shuri because of her energy attacks. With the Storms, parry and spam heavy to hit him without taking thorn damage and build prowess. Drop Sp 1 or Sp 2. Wash rinse repeat.

Bishop can do it too, but will take thorn damage on first hit of heavy. He'll regen a little bit though. Drop Sp 2.

Korg and Atuma are pretty easy to me, can dex them all, even easier than Thing, Annihilus

Attuma is the scarier defender because korg can be played around with skill and has more counters in the form of all energy damage and non-contact doesnt take thorns from him, but no amount of skill will save you from attuma's thorns if you don't draft a counter which is just pretty much non-contacts or duped dazzler.

I have better win rate against Attuma than Korg. With Korg i still can't dex sp1 and he sometimes corners me with unblockable and unstoppable.

If you care about battle grounds korg is miles better. I have both at r3 but Attuma gets cooked by some champs, I don’t really even draft him anymore. Suprised to see Attuma leading by a lot.

Attuma is still a nightmare for me... He always eats my 5-10 perc health in Bg

There’s probably an argument to be made for either, but personally I like that Attuma sorta mandates a good counter in the draft. Korg can be safely done with anyone as long as you know how to light intercept and dodge his sp1, albeit the fight may be slow depending on who you use. Attuma will deal you thorns damage unless you have specific champs, and while you can still nuke him with several meta options like CGR and Hulkling that health loss can still easily lose you a match. Attuma’s also pretty synergistic with a lot of nodes; power gain can let him build hydration faster and spiral out of control (see last GC meta, he was pretty annoying there), and AA reversal can let him trigger nodes more frequently while denying AAR as counterplay.

(Also Attuma is actually usable on offense, but that’s not really bgs relevant).

Korg isn't scary. Korg is a rage inducer. He looks annoying, sounds annoying and he is no fun to fight, so he is the purest annoyance. He is no fun to fight against either. Thanks to his shield he takes longer to kill, requires special kind of dancing around and unless you have the perfect counter, you won't avoid getting unnecessary damage.

I think he can be usable on BGs offense but in reality no one’s using him on offense.

I personally dislike fighting Korg more than Attuma. I can usually get Attuma down before hitting full hydration where as Korg is always a slower fight. Also the purify mechanic of Korg shuts down a lot of Science attackers I tend to use where as Attuma is just don't parry. I will say I have Attuma at rank 3 vs Korg who is still at rank 1 due to sig level.
