The argument is the information given can be written on a forum post. They leave out key information like the date of a quest being released. Most people understand the holiday break thing, but why go all through the trouble to make a recording just to leave out important information that would make people want to tune in to livestreams

I didn't say it couldnt be prerecorded. I was referring to there being hardly any information in the stream at all. They could have made a 2 paragraph forum post and saved us all the time. We learned pretty much nothing that we didnt already know aside from the rewards for the deathless quest

This is my last comment here before I go on break myself. But I'll just say that while yes it could have been a forum post, then people would be up in arms that there was no live stream and not everyone is on forums. It could have been handled better, but that will always be the case. Maybe in the future they will tell us in advance. Maybe in the future we won't have any more live streams. Who knows. I sure don't.

They wanted to present Deathless Saga matching theme. "Live" didn't work out with "Deathless". I would have appreciated more however if they used black and white lightning.

It could have been a forum post. But not everyone comes to the forums and who would post it?

It could have been an official website post. But not everyone visits.

It could have been an in-game message. But we know how well the player base reads. Or doesn't log in around that time.

It could have been many things but they're on vacation. The problem with this community is thinking that these employees work 24/7 and have to be available for everything and answer each person individually. Maybe in the future, they just shut the forums down during the holidays like a normal business doees.

This is my opinion without any evidence, but I disagree. Making a whole livestream without key information is worse than making a forum post. I think people would be less angry overall reading a post compared to having to watch a stream

I'm assuming they come back next week right? So the forum post could have gone out on Monday? Have it pre made just like a recording. And post it then. We have had livestreams postponed in the past, so it's nothing new.
