New Sigil Store Questions

For those people who are planning to subscribe, what do they see as the biggest value in the Store out of these (listed below).
Also, does anyone know how it works? Because you get 75 credits when you subscribe for a month, but some of the stuff costs a lot more than 75 credits yet has a 7 day refresh timer. Is that meant for people who would just save up all their credits over several months, or do some people subscribe for like a whole year all at once and get 75x12 credits immediately?

Anyway, here are the items that jumped out to me:

(1) 7 crystal = 260 credits
(2) Titan crystal = 700 credits
(3) 7 nexus crystal = 500 credits
(4) 200 T2 dust (takes 2 months to buy total with refreshes) = 800 credits
(5) 7 Star Witch = 400

I would probably take 2 7 crystals over one 7 nexus, but then again, I'm not chasing any one specific champ. Definitely would not save for the Titan. The T2 dust price is crazy imo. More than a Titan, yet Kabam gives out 200 T2 dust way more generously than a full Titan.

I’m hunting specific champs and dupes, so probably focus on the nexus. I agree about the dust, can’t imagine who looks at that price and thinks it’s a good idea. Six stars are dead, even if they don’t know it yet.

Curious what you mean by "dead" specifically? Because, for example, 6 Mags cheeses the 9.1.6 boss better than any current 7R3.
I also see many 6s even in BG GC today.
Anyway, I just think the T2 dust price doesn't align with the price structure that's presented elsewhere in the game.

While you can still use them any place you like, I think it’s a mistake to spend rankup resources on just about any six star unless you’re TB or paragon and your seven star roster is small. I still see ascended sixes in BG but they are far less effective then they used to be because of all the 7r2 and 7r3 running around.

I’ll keep using the dust whenever it’s going to expire but I’ve probably got 30 ascended champs at this point? I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel or just ascending 6r3s in case I have some niche use for them down the road. Vision AoU, looking in your direction.

Dust still good for certain 6* heroes that won't be 7* any time soon

Yeah that makes sense. I guess it all depends on your situation. If I had 30 6As like you, I'd probably be uninterested in 6s too. But as someone who started playing this game when 7s were already out, and used only a handful of 5s and 6s to clear content through to Valiant, I find myself with more 7R3s (13) than 6As (9).
So I guess my roster still can use 6s.

Although, my biggest regret is sleeping on Dazzler and not grinding the arena when she was featured. Using her as an ascended 6 with max sig would be pretty great to have, even if it's just for a year until her 6 became obsolete.

Haha, see, you even have the newest champ as an awakened 7R3, so yeah, 6s should be dead for you.
Most people aren't as heavily invested though, so I do think Kabam will continue to cater to them as well by not letting 6s die a quick death.

Honestly no you’re rosters don’t need more you already at 7 stars only rank 6 star with gems is my opinion. Just my opinion

It makes sense and you're probably right.
But it's hard sometimes. Like, I don't have Onslaught or Serpent as a 7, and I don't buy crystals left and right. So there is a good chance I just don't get them in the next year, if ever.
Do I rank up and ascend my 6 versions? I've been sitting on them for a while hoping to pull the 7s but it never happened.
I have a lot of T2 dust and the crazy T6B/T3A deal we got means I'll really only have to use T6CC as a precious resource. I wish I had R5 gems, but the glorious games ones were only for tech and science.

That's why I like this game, there are so many different strategies.
Sometimes patience pays off.

Other times, "you have to spend money to make money." As in, using T6CC to rank up a 6 may get you more T6CC (and other goodies) than you invested in the first place. A specific 6 can help you clear content you may not have cleared otherwise, or would have needed revives to clear. A new 6 can push you into a higher tier of GC and earn you more rewards than you spent ranking up the 6.

Or it could be Wong, maybe you have him as a 6 but not a 7. Ranking up the 6 Wong to do a Necro run and get way more stuff (and use fewer revives) than you spent on ranking him up int he first place.

Or it could just be a waste of T6CC. it all depends on what you're doing, I guess....

And don't forget this man. A very dangerous man. A man who in his red outfit will never be released as a 7. A man who will clear Valiant content faster than any 7R3 should the opponents be foolish enough to be made of metal.

Also, it’s a lot easier to sig up a 6* - so for a champ who needs/wants high sig (like CAIW or Angela) it might still be worth taking up the 6* even if you have an unawakened or low sig 7*.
