Do synergies work if Champion is knocked out.

I didn’t consider this before, but let’s for example say I take Heimdel on a quest and he has his synergy that benefits everyone else on the squad. If I use him and he gets knocked out, does the benefits for the other squad members go away?

They work. There are some synergies that require a champ be alive /dead. But if nothing is mentioned, it will work

They work unless specifically stated “If alive….” Or something like that which is kind of rare. Nick Fury has different synergies alive or knocked out.
