Valkyrie or Shang chi

I am currently in Act 6.1 and dont have any good skill champs. I heard shang chi is amazing, but valkyrie is 6*. Who should I build first? Or should I wait till I get a better 6*.

Any help would be appreciated.

6* Valkyrie would go further in the game for you than a 5*

I'd suggest holding onto rank-up materials until you need a particular champ or utility. You don't "need" skill champs for Act 6. Where you're at right now, you should focus your rank-ups on counters to fights and not on class diversity.

Exactly this. At that point, don't rank "good" champs, wait until you need let's say as counter for the mr sinister or smth like that, save your rank up mats. Unless you get 6 star corvus or hercules, then go all in
