MVPs for Act 8

When y'all were completing 8.1 and 8.2, who were your most-used champs? Which champs on your team were great for most of the content/bosses, or cheesed through things like the weapon nodes? I'm also curious about how many of your most valuable champs for Act 8 are NOT the obvious/overglazed (Herc, Kate, Doom).
I'll make a poll for my predictions, but feel free to comment others that aren't covered. I know Herc, Doom, and Kate are unanimous top options, so I'm not gonna include them.

    I just explored it (nearly) on mini acc and used abs a lot, sinister, Moleman, Elsa, spidey, shuri, Angela pretty much did the lot.

    I don't know, I just read the nodes for each path and picked whoever was best from my roster at the time.
    There are dozens of fights and nodes in 8.1 and 8.2, you just have to pick the best counters you can.
    Otherwise this is just a question of who are some champs you like in general....

    Sorry for the contradiction, I was looking for the best champ options that could work in Act 8 besides the 4 or 5 champions in the game that everyone overuses (cuz a lot of people like myself might not have champs like CGR or Hercules). I'm sure many players used champs that weren't top 5 in the game that performed surprisingly well, and that's what I made the poll for. Regardless, my choice of options for the poll could very well be inaccurate since I don't know much about Act 8.

    Mr. Sinister is good even unawakened, but he gets a very big boost from awakening. If you have a gem, use it on him. He doesn't need any synergies. He will be amazing for most paths unless they are stun immune. Limber is also terrible for him.

    I completed 8.1,8.2 and 8.3 when they released and used an almost all-mutant team with 6* r3 professor X, apoc, archangel, cable and herc. Apocalypse was absolutely phenomenal for these matchups, and I rarely ever used his pre-fight to make another champion a horseman, and he made sure i got through every completion run reviveless
