nah go wiccan but cmon i wanna see some ranked up anti venoms
As everyone else has stated, Wiccan is a better overall champ, hands down. That said, there's a lot of great mystics out there.
If you already have a high ranking Kushala, Rintrah, Hood, Doom, etc., then maybe Wiccan isn't adding much to your roster.
Anti-Venom, while not amazing, does bring poison and incinerate immunity. There aren't too many champs with that combo. In fact, the only other two I can think of off the top of my head are Iceman and Peni-Parker. I know there's a few others, but that's what I got at the moment.
Also consider your roster in terms of champs who have easy access to stacking debuffs. I forget what the node is called, but there's one that pops up occasionally where you can't do any damage until a champ has three debuffs. He can be good for nodes like that too.
So yeah, Wiccan is better, no doubt. But there's a lot of champs that can do what Wiccan can do. I have a fairly deep roster, so this may not apply to you, but I can honestly say that the only two defenders I would take Wiccan against over other options (node dependent) would be Knull and Terrax.
I ranked mine up a few war seasons ago because he was gonna be good for it and the path I was taking, but forgot about him after that season. 😭
Wiccan, again MUCH better ROI for your rank up.
But that's what I like about Sagas.. they push us to rank and play champs we had overlooked previously.. and I had lots of fun playing them sometimes (Viv was another during her meta)
