Not a Nexus

TonyStarchTonyStarch Member Posts: 3
I spent 600k Shields on the 7* Class Nexus Offer, only I didn't get a Nexus. I chose Science as it had the best chances of me getting someone I wanted. I clicked to open it as Nexus crystals don't spin, and was given Spider Punk instead of given the choice of picking 1 of 3 champs as a Nexus should.

Anyone else experience this? If so, @Kabam Miike , can this be fixed, please? I can guarantee that Punk would not have been my choice.

Your misunderstanding of what you were getting is not something Kabam is going to fix.

The crystal is a nexus in that you pick the class. The class crystal that results is a normal crystal for that class.

Also Mike left Kabam a year ago.

It’s already a year. Man time flies by, it’s scary…

It's not me misunderstanding, it's them misrepresenting what it contains. In their game, a Nexus crystal implies the choice of 1 of 3 champs. If that's not what they meant, they should've given it a different name.

Damn, thanks for the heads up. I rarely watch videos, am not in any Discords or keep up to date with the inner happenings. But thank you.

I'm glad I didn't buy it, because I also thought it was a nexus

They Probably should've just called it a class selector crystal to prevent misunderstandings.

Then the next complaint would've been that it's not a selector, because a selector let's you choose from all the contents, not just a portion of them. It's a nexus, it's advertised as a nexus, and it works like a nexus. No need to call it anything else.

I believe that it actually is a selector. It appears to give you a choice of all six classes to choose from.

Shouldn't this have been more accurately named a class selector crystal, given that it gives you the choice to select between all six classes, rather than a portion of those classes, and that it provides a regular 7 star crystal rather than a 7 star nexus? This could have prevented the nexus confusion.

Was just gonna say the same thing.
(and no, I typically don’t purchase these, or look at them, so I don’t know what the wording on them typically is).
“7* Class Selector Hero Crystal” would be a more accurate Title.

(1st part) But, YES, it does allow you to choose from ALL the contents. The “contents” of the selector being all 6 of the different Class based Hero Crystals.

Is the Title always like that for these class Selector ones ? Do they always say Nexus ?

And related to calling it Nexus, as opposed to Selector, well then shouldn’t it only “randomly” give you the option to choose from only say 3 of the 6 Classes then ? That's what a Nexus would imply, even if you're trying to argue that Nexus is the correct term ?

It’s called a class nexus because it lets you choose the class of the crystal. Calling it a nexus doesn’t necessarily indicate you choose the champ. The crystal it produces is a wholly different thing and it’s not indicated that that crystal too is a nexus.

But don't they usually use "nexus" when there is a limited number of options to choose from and "selector" when you can choose between all options. In this case, you are able to choose between all six classes, so wouldn't it have been more accurate to call it a selector and avoid the confusion caused by calling it a nexus altogether?

For reference, if you look at the "7-star Class Hero Crystal Selector" which you receive as a reward for exploring 7.2, it provides the same thing as this crystal, but has the more accurate name, with no mention of "nexus" in the title. Why not simply use that name for this crystal as well?

And this is the whole Point. These crystals actually exists a Long time in the Game and they were N E V E R called Nexus.

Yea it shouldn’t had been called nexus

So understand why the confusion comes from it isn’t a nexus because it lets you choose from all classes.

It should be a class nexus after you select the class

Picard is still in the Nexus, I don't care what anyone says.
