Red Skull getting buffs nullified

Red skull is getting his buffs nullified in the side quest on the Spider-Man Supreme path. I could be missing something here but I know he's nullify immune

    Like it says above: Champions can't Nullify him.

    But nodes like Buffet can.

    Yeah, They only want to make him more annoying on defence than equally good on attack.
