I saw that there trolling at this point first with medusa saying there hasnt been a family member for years now they say about magiki cant take it no more i dont want to be trolled i want this stuff to be real i want a new magik and i want a new inhuman member

I missed out of the glory days of Magik tbf so it would be refreshing to test her out even if they lock her again at 6* or rebalance her to be able to be released as a 7* that would be cool

Magik of all characters doesn't need a second form, especially when the limbo sword user barely uses her sword outside of special attacks so that needs working on mainly

We really don't need the same character but again type stuff with this game.

It's one of the things with new champ releases that make the game so stale, you literally have the character that exists already so...change the original one up than waste development time on a glorified reskin when so many Marvel characters just are not in yet.

Well, Domino's crit failure doesn't scale with modified attack, Magik's does, if that doesn't put into perspective how ridiculously broken the limbo damage is then I don't know what does, it is about five times worse than crit failure damage lol.
Even champs with high energy resistance aren't safe if Magik gets released as a 7*, you would literally need someone with ridiculous regen like Nefaria, how many Nefarias do we have in game? Even then, highly unlikely you'd be able to outregen the limbo damage with Nefaria.

The only way that introducing Magik in BGs would make any sense if is she is a prize champ for top alliance rank rewards, otherwise there is no use for Elders.

Honestly, Magik would just be another 5/5 defender. The game has progressed so far that I don't think players would be surprised if that was the way she was on defense.
It's broken and unfair but we've had bullseye who pretty much would take nearly 50% of your health from all the block and bleed dmg you took from that sp1 and dex (when he was initially released).
Domino as well without a tech is suicide
I also discovered attuma the other day when I used a shocker against him in battlegrounds I KID YOU NOT I LOST OVER 50% OF MY HEALTH FROM THORNS. I really wonder how players were fighting him before NTW and dazzler came out JEEZ

Point is, if Magik were to be re-released, they could tweak her a bit and add a new line of text with a RARE mechanic that can mitigate her limbo dmg (defensive threat) and design future science champs with that mechanic (eg debilitate for Enchantress, atrophy for maestro etc).
Kabam can sell their 5/5 defender with very little counters to which can terrorize us for 6 months and kabam can make money of counters.
Kabam makes money = The game I love continues

We would likely had many counters for magik if she was 7*. It is easily a manageable issue.

Daar champs work against her. Or they could make another niche counter (they aren't shy to do so nowadays) who has +1000000000 energy resistance if you fight a mystic champ tagged as X men.

Yes but we don't have nearly as many as we have for Serpent and Bullseye, not even close. Even on release they had more viable counters than Magik does currently they just weren't easy to use (yes talking about Tigra specifically).

As for the energy resistance part, we would need at the very least 3 science champs for that to be a valid argument, so until we do she just can't be a 7*. Then there's the infinite power lock situation of course.
