AQ Nightmare Raids - Gentle Discussion

It's probably just me, but Gentle really does seem like a brutal fight in both the middle and right side paths, even in the left he's arguably the hardest imo.

Gentle has (an obvious) bleed immunity, is very naturally tanky as the fight goes on, and has the very obvious reinforce passive.

The two issues that stand out are to me are:

1. A lack of great options for him, with the reinforce passive, options like Iron Man hit like noodles against him, bleed immunity takes out some champs, and as stated, he is REALLY beefy.

2. He does way too much chip damage on the right side, power efficiency is bound to activate at points, and you'll basically be forced to choose between him gaining a ton of physical resistance, or doing a chunk of damage into your block with the daunteds.

Of course, this all could just be a major skill issue on my end, and honestly? It probably is, but I'd like to hear others thoughts on Gentle in Nightmare Raids.

Also the vision arkus tenacity is hurting silk with weak spot and the hulkbuster regen is way to powerful it should be taken out

I agree. I brought Phoenix and she’s scaling at all with the DOT boost. Gentle is eating up alot of damage but the health isn’t going anywhere

Im getting wrecked by gentle in the middle. Got the timing down for the sp1 punish but no matter what I do I can't seem to do any meaningful damage with Odin, and odin hits hard as hell with unparalleled buffs normally.
This fight has been brutal.

I personally used iron man og, (a terrible choice in hindsight, he only works for Sassy tbh), you can't get any damage at all outside of arc reactor and armor breaks.

Absolutely. I figured Odin red damage would at least make a dent but my god... it barely does.

I didn't like Gentle, Annhilus, Rintrah and Sassy combo so we enlisted for normal map atleast for this week. Less stressful, all usual options, happy mind and good day.
Nice day 1 progress.

Rintrah and sassy were nothing actually. None of their abilities came into play.

Yeah, good that they toned them down. We will try in next one. How is Annhilus?

It took some practice and now I get it with about 90% success but believe me, when I don't nail it it hurts, haha

I used purgatory with prowess ender and did about 70% in my pod. Right side. She's really good for him. Will take 2-3 sp3 but wasn't too bad imo.

If you used DOT Boost you would only need 1 SP3... I used Purg in the middle path and destroyed all 3 mini bosses with Purg. Haven't fought Annihilus yet.

On my alt, I just used iron heart with siphon slider to crush him. Just a lot of sp1 spam and the incinerates destroy him.

The fumble passive that occurs. Have to dash back and hold block for steadfast

Part of the problem is just the HUD and the sheer number of icons at play:

I mean, two identical grey timers? A handful of passives that don’t show up anywhere else in thr game. It’s a mess.

With purgatory , you don't have to bait sp1 right because the physical resistance he gets from his SP2 won't make a difference for her?

I had the same issue until i had a "I understand it now" moment and then was able to crush the fight normally
