Im def going to be skip this content myself. I think that overall the content released this year by kabam has been mostly good til this.

Epoch is actually one of my favorite pieces of content ever. Its challenging as all hell but it was fun and using all of my roster to beat it was fun and felt FAIR rewards felt so powerful esp beating back when it came out.

The ordeal was solid. I already liked grandmaster gauntlet and this felt like a harder version but still very fair. And for its challenge rewards were satisfactory.

9.2 is fun and had solid rewards not too much to say there honestly.

Valiant gauntlet forces you to use A TON of your roster which is great and thats something that feels fair as its NOT restricted.

Wheel of fate is taking all the worst aspects of these quests. Made valiant gauntlets restrictions far far worse. Even more difficult than epoch thanks to these awful restrictions with rewards that dont cut it at all.

Wheel of fate had so much potential but when you compare it to literally any other content this year. Why not play the other content? Literally all 4 of the previously mentioned are far far better.

At 7.7 million rating, I'm ranked slightly under 11,000 in this game

Meaning there are 11,000 players with 7* rosters big enough for this piece of content

With 1,000,000+ players playing on and off in this game, that's 1% of the entire playerbase who can even consider playing this content

That's not taking into consideration the need to rank up those champions, even less players have those 7* champions at rank 3 currently

So the eligible audience for this content is like maybe the top 0.5% of the playerbase?

Just looked at KT’s thoughts on the first quest, the first fight on the second quest requires a size M champ with a defensive utility tag. The only champ I saw who could even come close to doing that fight is Wong. Really? One champ? Absolutely bonkers that being able to do a fight comes down to luck at pulling a champ.

Agreed. I have a few revives expiring & was figuring to use them doing at least quest 1. I'd rather get the small amount of gold for selling then than do this. My roster is fine for it, just don't want to. Especially considering the early rewards. I've got plenty of units & July 4 is 3 weeks away. I'll be able to get the same, if not better then

I think the issue Kabam has is ROL initially took months to complete. LOL, was a massive chore and if you look back it was recommended to have 3k-5k of units for an initial clear.

I do think it’s hard for kabam to make true Everest content that isn’t blitzed in hours after its released. But if the way they want do is through a restrictive design that can only be completed with specific champions, they need really future proof the rewards properly and make worth the champion chase. I believe 4th July sales starts in 16 days. The sale and unit deals are likely going to dwarf the rewards from this quest. It just feels oddly designed and oddly placed with the backdrop of a big sale coming up.

One part of this that is ticking me off, is that sometimes I would schedule a day to just do content like this. Call it nerdy, addicted, whatever you want. Now I know I would schedule some time; but nowhere near for fights that take 15 mins repeating the same thing over and over. Not only that, now they are lowering the scope of champs to use. So it's not I can do it on Sunday anymore, it's I don't have this, I gotta rank that, I gotta sit for 3 or 4 hours on Sunday.

When the game's #1 YouTuber as far as most subscribers comes out and completely blasts the content after just getting into the game again is not a good look.

And it’s not just Seatin. KT1, Lagacy, Vega, and others have all said how poorly designed the quests are and also super annoyed at the bait and switch with “12 defenders in a selector”. Go watch the first 5 min of vega’s stream and you can see how annoyed he is at getting baited with torch.

Right but the rewards suck and by the time you grow into it you'll have better things to invest your time into, like banquet story content and other endgame content

Last time I checked, any amount of t7b is still a top reward. Even the biggest whale has a grand total of 10 r4s. There's far more than 140 7* available. That's less than 1/10th of a roster.

That would definitely extend the lifespan of this quest. But I think it’s just so lazy to slap restrictions of this level on a quest. It’s such an artificial way to make something difficult. It takes the skill aspect out of the game, and make it purely a luck based quest. Do you have the specific champ? No? Then guess you’ll have to wait

Well that’s a bummer. I had been looking forward to FINALLY getting 7* Serpent, but I don’t think it is going to be worth it to me if it is this much of a slog. I don’t want to drop a ton of units on content that isn’t fun 16 days before the July 4th sale. Maybe I’ll feel differently if I have a bunch of units after the event.
