Then you dealt with a bunch of people who didn't believe you, and the hopeless feeling of knowing scarce cases are overturned? They're compensating for the mistake on their end that they've rectified. Not for all the ongoing issues in the game that they haven't been able to fix. Remember, the compensation package is not just a way to mitigate lost rewards. False positive bans happened during a large ban wave where the narrative was those people were doing something wrong, and it was visible enough that a lot of people had that Scarlet Letter pinned to them.
Sure this would be true IF those account get a permanent, unremovable indicator they were banned at one point but in a couple of weeks there will be absolutely no way to tell who or who wasn’t inappropriately banned. And thereby this players got a great compensation package for a week off the game and being removed from their alliance (in some case temporarily and I’m sure now that there’s more detail they can go back).
This compensation package is the most insane thing kabam has ever given out. $150 worth of units plus achieving ALL the “strech” objectives, for the “most valuable” game currency of hitting 200 points in GC within 2 weeks (which they also f’d up the seasons staring ranks and gave no radiance nor units comp) plus a half week of aq glory and aw loyalty (that was likely double dipped). I’m just blown away at how kabam gave away a non-insignificant amount of the two most valuable for their mess up (I will censor myself so this most doesn’t get removed)

Obviously I don’t expect anyone to be fired, it was hyperbole. What I think the community is warranted is accountability and explanations. Do I expect it? No. Will I quit the game if I don’t get it? No. Do I have any way of demanding it? No. Do I think it’s warranted? Yes
