At least they should put good 7*s in the titan crystal. These crystals are among the most valuable in the game for a reason, and Red Hulk isn't even near close to the other champs in this pool (except for Joaquin). Joaquin can get buffed, but Rulk is unlikely gonna get buffed
Torres at least can be relevant in most scenarios and is a good science champion, the problem is the time he was released,when the Top 15 of science class completly overshadow all the other champions abd make them look insignificant

But yeah, his base identity is actually pretty unique already with the 3 points I mentioned - Science who doesn't rely on Debuffs - doesn't rely on special attacks - XL champ with good heavy reach

Hey, great point actually.. For sure, older buffed champs will ultimately be overshadowed by new champs (in a way) by design as there always needs to be a reason to get excited about new releases, of course and it's understandable
For example, there are tons of buffed champs that are amazing and actually quite relevant.. I actually enjoy using older buffed champs more than new champs.. but that's a personal preference - it's a choice we have as players
But I think the deal is basically that if you want the newest version of a utility, new champs are your go-to for that.. Example: True (things) get replaced by newer offensive mechanics such as Pursuit, Undermine, etc. The need for these new versions of the same utility is created via new defender kits: "... as a defender, Ability Accuracy is increased by 100%" or simply "is immune to True (things)" .. this opens the door for a newer version of the exact same utility.. but just with a different name and creates the "need" for the newer champs
Slow vs Grit.. Nullify/Stagger/Fate Seal vs (any other modern Mystic form of buff mitigation), etc. etc.
And, I think it's completely fair.. that's the trade off If you want the ability to turn off more threats neatly and cleanly in a fight.. choose a new champ If you prefer to use gameplay or fight style (when possible) to address threats, use an older champ.. both can work, but the newer champ will likely remove threats with less effort

I mean I began in this thread by posting a solo of a 1.7m PI Zola in AW Sure, there's a few options for that, but he's not Mystic and he's not on Hazard Shift lol.. just to illustrate a point of just one fight that doesn't meet your stated criteria (that was actually my first time doing that match and I played it inefficiently.. kind of testing it out.. intend to shave at least 30s next time) As for SW in ROL.. one sec

But regarding Mystics in AW... I'd use him for any fight that punishes or doesn't allow Debuffs There are quite a few on the map actually (traditional AW format) and yes, Poison/Rupture Hazard is the obvious one, as you mentioned (but it doesn't have to be a Mystic at all for that to be a good match)
Although he isn't red hulk.. when he transfer to regular 7* champion crystal (basic)..
Note: did not put any sigs in him although, some say Rocket is not bad.. i don't have much use for him.. if his damage was better (I might reconsider him as a good tech)
If you like Flamin Trinity: Domino, Masacre, and Red Hulk.. then it might not be so bad.. but certainly Rulk is not who I would want in my Titan Crystal.. from basic champion crystal.. maybe or maybe not.. 🤔
It's how the crystals are designed, the lowest tier champ has the max chance to be pulled.. like it or not that's how Kabam makes money, u don't accept everyone to be pulling the top champ on first try, defeats the purpose of the GRIND
At a certain point it becomes unappealing to spend on deals with Titans. Saving almost 20 titans and getting screwed on almost all of them makes any deal based around crystals a non-starter.
I guess I can thank Kabam for saving me a few quid for another hobby.

My first two pulls of the new titan crystal pool were Falcon, and Falcon. Its not that he sucks, I mean im never gonna use him. But its the fact that bro is my least favorite character in the game lmao my luck has been ducking all year lol

Just following up. Yep. I pulled him again. Opened 1 crystal and this is who i pull. Im done.
6 out of 11 were Red Hulk for me. Once you pull him i wish the chances to pull that champ again went down.
