Not Opening New Characters in 7 Star Crystals

Subjectively, I noticed I've been duplicating numerous characters whenever I pull a 7 star or titan crystal. Starting April, I started to keep track of the characters I pulled from the 7 star crystals (including also 1 titan opening) for objective evidence.

Of the 19 7 star and titan crystals I've opened, I've pulled a new character less than 16% of the time. There are still over 80 7 star heroes/villains I don't own. These odds feel like I'm playing with loaded dice. Anyone else just duping 7 stars and not getting new characters?!

Yep. I've been getting almost nothing but dupes for a couple of months. I stopped pulling a few weeks ago. Waiting until the crystal gets some new champs added next week to hopefully improve my odds. It looks like there are stil 29 basic 7-star crystal champs I need, out of 108. So 1 out of every 4 should give me a new champ. It's been less than that.

Same issue for me.
Among the basic pool, a bit more 1 « new » for 2 dupes.
In the fact, on the last 17 basic 7* the RNG gives me 14 dupes. And the « new » don’t send me some dreams.
My dupe series started on February.

As JediJones77 writes, maybe it is better to wait for additional 7* in the basic pool. And it will take months.

The Basic 7* just gave me a ton of War Machines and all kinds of dupes but just recently gave me Sand-Man, Onslaught and Mysterio but there definetly is some higher pull rates.

I'm having the same problem with relics. I've opened at least 150-200 relics (5-6*) after the first 10-15,i haven't got a single new one. It's annoying

Basic pool should change in a few days when the titan changes.

Just 6 more champions. The rate doesn’t change a lot.

I have 77 basic 7* champions (excluding Loyalty, Incursions, eidols, collectors) among the 114 champions in the basic pool, after the switch of the titan.
A rate of 67,5%.

In the last 20 basic 7* crystal, I got 17 dupes (and of course rarely good ones).
A rate of 85%.

With some pools that don’t join the basic, the chance of a new champion increase only a bit every quarter.

No new champion (good or bad) = no level up.
No interesting champion = no rank up.
No rank up or level up = no need to fight for ressources and less interest for bundles or offers.
That leads to a less interesting game.

Kabam, what about a mercy mechanism to get a « new » champion after N openings?

Man 6* relic crystals annoy me no end. There are only 24 relics in there and I need around half of them as either a 1st time dupe or brand new pull and yet it seems like I just constantly pull the same 2 techs lol
