Hi all. Do you believe this years sale will be successful like other years?

I know this is controversial, but recently wrong bans and other kind of complaints may result in kabams disadvantage for the sales. As i can see from the forums, a lot of people disgruntled with the current situation.

I am mostly f2p anyway, but i like to spend some on 4th usually. Tho i don't think I'll do it this year. Given the fact that some endgame contents came with not so endgame reward. (i don't want to name it, but you all know it 😂)

I was wondering your thoughts on the matter.

You're kinda right. People always complaining about everything in the forums, but they never stop spending.

Although, i really wonder what the community really thinks.

I know I am right. The complaints are mainly from small spenders who spent more than they can afford most likely. Then they get this sense of entitlement because "they spent".
So yeah they will make a ton of revenue on 4th and CM like every year.

I can't remember the last time I complained; I probably will buy a few things. I am not spending nearly as much as other years though. My google tier status went from Plat to Silver.

I think it's impossible to tell.
Some of the loudest complainers on the forum basically complain about everything and hate the game and don't spend and don't play competitively.
Unless we're looking at Kabam's receipts, it is just speculation about whether a certain sale was successful or not.
Look at Banquet 2024 for example, a complete failure according to the forum yet an unbridled financial success based on the data that Netmarble released later.
All you or I can do is make our own decisions based on our personal finances, and how we feel about the game and our place in it at the time.

Short answer: yes. People who spend big are gonna spend big. It’s the only way to keep up. Will there be some who sit on the sidelines that would have spent? Maybe. But there will be new spenders for various reasons. And if you have been around long enough you know that this is basically it until cyber weekend…. So a lot of rationalizing will come into play.

I know there are spenders who go FTP, but I think the majority of spenders who quit spending just go do something else. Easier to do that than reset expectations.

I complain a lot but have never spend a single cent because spending real life money on a game you can play for free seems insane to me but yeah I can see some of the more obsessive people spending a lot despite complaining

Forums is actually a really really small portion of the players.

Spenders have money to spend and nobody can stop them.

I agree though,.,I haven’t spent on 4th for the last couple years,.,i go for the odd platinum track and that’s about it.
