Our first (official look at High Evolutionary and the Maker

Analysis

High Evolutionary has both an Evolutionary field and Aspect of Evolution (Node name?) when activiating his sp2. Not sure what those do. On Sasquatch there is Exhaustion, Severe Withers, Reverse Controls, and two new symbols I do not recognize. He seems to do a lot of burst damage, especially the beam attacks. There is also some sort of effect on Sasquatch and a "Devolved" effect.

Maker has a lot of passive effects on his opponent including Power Reroute (seen on Bastion already), Energy Vulnerability, plus a few other effects I do not recognize. One of them may be the rumored Special Drain effect used to counter Captain Britain. On the Maker himself he has Stun immunity when activating a special, can Evade, and there's another icon. Plus he also has mines and plasma

Honestly a little shocked by the classes, they make sense but it would have made more sense flipped to me. They look good either way

I don't think Kabam wants to release two versions of Reed in the same class. Plus despite wearing an advanced suit, High evolutionary’s entire thing is evolving his own biology (science based), while Maker enhances his already extreme intellect with machines (including Bio Bombs and the City)

It also looks like Maker may be our first Neuroshock immune champion (he expands his brain) because I don't see any on him during the onslaught matchup

Maker does not enhance his intelligence with machines, he stretched his brain using his own powers. He uses no more tech than 616 Reed. I get wanting to diversify from mr fantastic, I just don't think it's entirely from a narrative perspective. He would make sense either way to an extent and there are plenty of reasons for class selection, I just think the reasons people constantly parrot about him using more tech than Mr fantastic fall apart the second you read a comic

Eh we all knew both could have went either way. Always nice to have more techs regardless. Between tech and skill being subpar to the rest of the classes, hoping maker delivers.

I really hope. We've never had a tech or skill champ as dominant as Onslaught/D.Thanos/Serpent/Photon. Maker could be the one

MCU High Evolutionary is a great villain but he is nowhere near as powerful as his comic counterpart. The main version is an Avengers level threat
