The Horrible State MCOC is Currently In

I'm a huge cynic so take my post with a grain of salt.

I can argue that MCOC is in a horrible state as of right now and I can argue that this is the lowest point for us as the players.

Why, you ask? Well:

1. The blatant P2W edge (Lumatrix, Dark Phoenix)
2. The constant horrible big spending events (like Banq, for example. Worst offender: 10th anniversary Banq)
3. Out of pocket questionable BG metas
4. Bugs and issues
5. False bans (I know it's fixed but how are we sure that it won't happen again in the future? Do we have to play in shadows, in fear of getting another false ban?)
6. Defender one sided, biased characters (Photon, Yelena, Serpent, Bullseye, Zola, Danos, etc). I know the existence of these champions revolutionalizes the game and feels fresh but when this trope is repeated 80% of the time it becomes harmful to the game (then Kabam attempts to create a hard counter for the previous champ but ends up failing, resulting in another attempted counter, but also failing, then you know the character design is flawed).

After getting 2 horrible BG metas back to back, I'm hugely disappointed at Kabam. Do they even test the game?

I just feel like it's really offensive that this meta plays heavily on avoiding blocking and parrying but when SP attacks like War Machine's sp1, Mangog's sp2, Pun2099, etc exist, then how do you work around this?

Surely your tip for us players isn't "Just don't allow them to use undexable SPs lol" then you slap Block Penetration, Energize, and Power Gain on top of that as a mockery to us players.

With that reflected stun meta last season, it's offensive that the node forbids us player from doing the one thing that can mess the whole fight up, yet the dex/parry input is so horrible that dexes are registered as parries.

Please wake up and make MCOC great again. As a Veteran (9 year title), this game today isn't the game I loved years ago.

I reached end game status at every game I play and I can tell you honestly, every competitive game out there is broken somehow somewhere

Pro players are always looking for broken champions and broken gameplay to continue winning

There's no game that is perfect, there are only games that are financially sustainable and still operating

Many games shut down their servers after a few years if unprofitable

The perfect game developer company doesn't exist, there are only profitable game companies and unprofitable game companies

Kabam only has 2 games in the app store

MCOC is their bread and butter

The other game has only 1 million downloads on android

Kabam isn't running this game to crash it on purpose, Kabam is doing everything it can to allow it to continue operating for years and years

True but in MCOC's Case you can't say that, majority of the problems in MCOC comes from poor decision making on the devs end ( excluding bugs and AI shenanigans ) and constant focus on one side of the players.

I just won a battlegrounds match against a player with 7* rank 4 sig 200 Dark phoenix while I only have a 6* rank 5 sig 200 Dark phoenix

    I laughed after winning

The odds are against me but I won with strategy, can't win every match against big whales though

That happens in every game out there, there is real life case of game developer rolling out new updates 2 weeks before a major E sports tournament and all the pro players were scrambling to find which champions are broken so they can win the tournament

The players who exploited the broken champions have the competitive advantage and won the tournament of course

The game developer promised from then on, not to release major new updates weeks before a major tournament in future

Real money cash prizes are involved in the major tournament and you can imagine the online uproar from the fans whose teams they supported didn't win bcos of the major new updates

-Annoying defender sales are always high(money)
    - P2W champs makes a great amount of money(as onetime like dark pheonix & lumatrix & rest of Eidols will be)(money)
    - harder BG meta demand new annoying def which help in sales(money)

    - they probably have higher sales target than last year ( which is every company goal every year)
    - So squuze any moment they can by Big sales - small chain sales - other smaller like play track sales 🤷

    Downside 😓 u know, what's downside

    I'm a cynic myself.

    Point 1.
What's not acceptable are rare pool whale events that includes basic champs like gifted guardian, hof, red guardian, Torch, Omega days etc.
Game needs Exclusive champs and they should remain exclusive for the ones who actually keeps the lights on, like the ones you mentioned, DP and Luma.

I don't care about rest of your rant. You can rant away.... cool off.

Y'know you're not supposed to hit the enemy in this new meta right? If you hit block only you'll almost never have to deal with these 'undexable' specials you speak of.
