Titan Nexus or CCP Challenge Selector

Of the tier 4 unit deals, which should I select between the two? Would be hoping for Spider Woman or would select Starky.

I haven’t done the CCP challenges yet (took a break from the game and came back recently) so I have the option of grinding for him and then hoping my luck pans out with the titan nexus. Or should I get starky and when I do CCP challenges, I’ll be able to awaken him?

The CCP challenges are not for the faint of heart. I’d probably take Starky from the selector. You’ll have plenty more chances at this Titan.

For me it's Starky all day. Even if you do get around to the challenges, you can always awaken him or take Massacre/S2099 which are still valuable to own.

Starky is one of the most consistent BG attackers, he is good in almost every meta and it's reflected pretty clearly in our data.

Considering my 7* techs are SORELY lacking, I think I'd take Starky pretty easily. Since he's not a 7* it's been a looooong time I've used him I feel like I need to figure out how he really works again to decide.

All I know, is that THIS was my draw in the free crystal this morning:

And my last 4 Titan crystal pulls were Red Hulk, Falcon, Gentle, and Red Hulk. So I don't trust luck being on my side.

Would rather take something that is a guarantee to me. Would I rather have Jean or Spider-Woman or Bastion or Yelena? Yes, yes, yes, and yes. But I'll rather take a great character I know that I'm getting (and isn't easy to get otherwise).

I know everyone loves Starky, but don’t sleep on massacre. He can put out some big numbers and can bypass a ton of nodes since his playstyle is hit into block. Although, I do think he wants high sig

I don’t know who needs it more, but Starky likes that big crit rate, but doesn’t need a super high sig though…

That's my issue Red Guardian wants the extra crit rate too lol and his is lower at base than Starky's so I guess what I'm really asking here is: is Starky still usable unawakened even if it takes longer to finish fights?

I took Starky - titans will be around but I'm prolly never doing all (or any more) of those CP challenges lol. Not my kind of content.

Nah… starky unawakened is completely unreliable. For bgs he’s so good because you have all those near guranteed crits including from the relic, so you can kinda predict how much hits/ specials it’ll take to kill the opponent

Nah… starky unawakened is completely unreliable. For bgs he’s so good because you have all those near guranteed crits including from the relic, so you can kinda predict how much hits/ specials it’ll take to kill the opponent

So is Red Guardian, but at least Starky's is a bit higher and I can awaken him once I do the ccp challenges. I'll guess I'll be the guinea pig and see if he really is arse without it.

Like clouddey said you can defeat most opponents before they even reach a bar of power. He can cheese he'll lot of fights in bgs probably the best attacker in bgs out for the current 7* pool.

It's the same thing as if you completed the CCP challenges. It's just Stark Spidey, Spiderman 2099, and Massacre.

Starky is good at 40 sig, 200 is not needed, although nice to have against crit resist champ, and yeah it's also per poise so at 10 poises he'll almost always crit, even against crit resist champs (but don't use him against sentinel he barely crits against sentinel).

You can still use him against sentinel because he is a robot and that sp2 shock damage boost a lot against robots
