This is my contention as well. For what they are charging now, I can easily buy every major console and several big name titles every single year.

Almost 6 new champs with awakening gem and sig 200 only in 36k units
And here we have to spend 39k units and getting only 1 rank up gem 3-4

Mid-Meh. The 2nd tiered bundles price was off putting. The jump from 750 units to 3,000 units is insane. And having an outdated 1-2 rank up gem as an option is even more insane.

Also, I feel like an Odin should have had some AG shards, and a Titan Nexus instead of the basic Titan, especially with the Red Hulk's disturbing drop rates. It would suck to spend $100 and pull him. Would suck even more to pull him 4 times 😅😂

Over all, it's a bit of a let down for me. Seems like the Poolshields event was better. But in the end, it's all bonus stuff added to the unit offers, so it's not horrible and still a win for some. I'm glad it benefitted others. I won't be spending on this as much as I have in the past, and I'm ok with that.

I bought the 750 unit deal which I thought was actually good then looked at the 3k deals, and was like no thank you. I then purchased the Black Panthers Treasure from the Paragon section because it was better then the Valiant section. After that I was done with this event. I am gonna build on the units I got until Banquette assuming there is gonna be a banquette. It might be more of a whale watching party, where we get to see them eat lol.

Greed is at an all time high. I'm scaling back from now on. This event missed the mark big time. It cost them nothing to add items to these offers. But they keep this tred going its going to cost them everything.

If that 3k unit deal contained 2*2-3 gem , it would have been worth it till that deal.

This game is nowhere near turning out the entertainment value it once was, and I have no idea who most of these “deals” are targeted at. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if engagement is suffering.

Actually from a business model its genius.
They had a sale money maker for years, now they make it mid and have different sales every 2 or 3 months. Making people want to buy stuff more times a year
Is it coincidence that last Banquet and J4 after it are this bad or mid? And the other events were better?

I was looking forward to seeing what I could get for total of about 10-12K units definitely got better deals in previous events. I wish the rank up mats were cheaper (understand the price for T7 basic)

That event was A LOT better than this one. Used all the 30k units i had at the time and spent a lil to get the final Dark Phoenix milestone. Glad i went all in on that event and didnt save my units for July.

Kart is fun, but basically it's a switch on roids with better framerate. Doesn't matter of course, it's for the kids who are running it into the ground now.

As for sales, it's funny to me how the strategy of taking rng out of acquiring specific high-value champs while also pushing the boundaries of reason and bald-faced capitalism will rub a lot of people the wrong way. While I wouldn't mind another r4 or 2, it's not a pressing need, nor is torch. I'll see if that changes closer to the end of the sale, though.

Damn its crazy once you see it like that. A switch 2 is less expensive than a 7* torch. Kabam has been spoiled by us and need to realize this fact.

My kids lost interest in mcoc before the pandemic. Plus they have no concept of money so it's never Or it's always And. That's why my oldest will be that guy in the single dorm with the switch 2, ps 5 and whatever size monitor they allow. Terrible father am I.

I told you guys that units were worth 1/3 of what used to be, they never went up in price since the release of the game. The only way to balance it to todays $ economy is by lowering what you can get with those units that NEVER changed price in 10 years.

Units are conjured out of thin air, they don't cost anything to Kabam, changing price isn't necessary

Value is what we players ascribe to the units and what units can buy in game

The units I spent in banquet last year can get me better stuff in Heatwave now if I saved them for 6 months

It's an interesting phenomenon how units can buy better stuff over time but sell for less in terms of USD and inflation adjusted

It is a good continuation of anniversary 10 year of fails for Kabam.
I am going to finally complete and finish 9.2 and buy completion offer. So, I will get 2 new R4 for 15k units.
Within 15k units in Heat wave I will not get even a single R4.

I was also ready to spend 50 bucks in market, but OMG, there is literally nothing valuable for this price. I think, not only me think the same. I will spend my money in PS store, e.g., on Forza Horizon 5.

The offers are so greedy and have so low price/value, that it is more a Shame Wave.

The good things come if you spend 39k units or 600 dollars.
Maybe, Kabam calculations are based on something. But, IMO, having 1000 people who spend 600 bucks and 10’000 people who spend 50 bucks is better than only first group.
