How are you guys dealing with Gentle in the last fight of Nightmare raids?

Using Count Nefaria,i was already having problems with Rintrah due to the dodge prompt and dexterity mastery not working properly and i tought Gentle would be just as bad
Little did i know,he wans't Gentle
He was Unstoppable, talking serious that Unstoppable shouldn't have come to raids and even worst for me to get prompts to at least get the grit passive, i can barely survive his block hits because my only potions left are low health potions, everyone in my alliance is having problems with this guy

seriously who thought his Unstoppable in a special and heavy punish node would be a good idea?

I wonder if your (OP) problem might be Nefaria and the way his evade works or doesn’t work to trigger the prompts. Generally, I find it best to stick to champs with very simple / traditional mechanics for raids. Fewer things to go wrong.

Juggs has worked well for me (tactician) on Gentle in the middle path.

Gentle easy guess you didn’t read his mechanics every 15 hits go unstoppable and when steadfast active don’t evade. Don’t forget to do your hacks as well as punish heavy special hope this helps

I just found out my intire alliance is stuck on Gentle in ther respective islands,dude Kabam just mess up soo much putting Unstoppable without a easier acess counter like simply Intercept or just remove it

You don't have to bait multiple times. Just bait his sp1 two times and punish it to get grits.

You don't have to bait multiple times. Just bait his sp1 two times and punish it to get grits.

why don’t you wait for revives to reset in 3 days? Since this is your last fight on the path.

Because you do have the option to wait for revives to refresh...

Then block bait heavies at the start. When you interrupt the heavy, do not combo him. You just want to interrupt then go back into block. I can generally block bait 5 heavies and he won't even hit into block, he will just go into the heavy animation. By not doing combos at the start, you will have your grit passive, so that you can fight freely and punish specials and not worry about the unstoppable counter. Then the grit will naturally refresh throughout the fight.

I used nefaria as well counter his heavy 5 times in a row at beginning of fight then throw specials after counting heavys or specials

Glad to hear it’s working for others too.

What’s the logic with countering the heavy five times at the beginning? I’ve been using Juggs, have only baited a couple of heavies to get his power going and then mostly baited sp1s. It’s worked fine. But is there something magic about five heavies right at the beginning?

Now that i realy run out of alliance quest i'm gonna have to wait to do that with full health in 2 days and a half

Thats why i said If i had other option not that i don't have other options,the solo thing i can do is wait for the revives to come back or the alliance quest heal and revive potions

Gonna use that once the revives are back,is there a way to reset the grit without needing to heavy or special punish again? sometimes the AI hits in my block a lot of times but doesn't throw a heavy

Because she ins't a Vanguard but an Assault and would still the same problem that is counter the Unstoppable

It's the fastest/easiest way to get the grit passive.

If you're relying on punishing specials:
1) sp1 isn't the easiest to get the timing and spacing down (and requires power)
2) sp2 punish gives you limited opportunities since that's a lot of bars of power.

I used Luke. He's been a great option for all 3 fights. Even against Gentle he can use concussions to fail the unstoppable

I don't know about last node Gentle but I am struggling with my Silk on the second node Gentle(After Rintrah basically), I have 20 Role Force charges, I am easily able to hit damage cap against rintrah but Gentle, I haven't touched 6 digit damage numbers at all and haven't been able to hit the health cap either, even with 20 Role Force charges.

My pod purg player used his revives in the first two fights. So me and the other guy used revives on gentle. Our middle path gentle is sitting on 55%.
My ogim ain't doing much without role charges. Managed 5% per revive.
So waiting for the revive reset for purg to close it out Lmao. Final boss is already down.

Should have used smaller revives on rintrah and sassy.

How are you guys dealing with Gentle in the last fight of Nightmare raids?
