Cannot update on KindleFire

My son plays the game on his Kindlefire. Today i went in to update it for him and the game is missing entirely from the app store, therefore i cannot update it for him. He current cannot play the game. Was the game suppose be removed from appstore or is this a bug?

    If the google play store isnt on there assume the app was discontinued like on the galaxy store.
    The galaxy store gave a warning when launching the app. Dont know about Amazon

    It’s pure laziness.
    Pay a third party to take care of your “anti-cheat” system and get rid of people that want to play the game without using the big 2.

    Yep - happened on my youngests phone, need to re-download it via Google Play for him to keep playing (he had downloaded via the Galaxy Store and was getting the warning)
