Why do you treat high evolutionary like that kabam?

Kabam you officially announced that high evolutionary would be a 5 star top defender just like Yelena, but he turned out to be a mediocre defender, basically has no defense! Plus his offense is also mid! Like prestige is his only shining point. What a disappointment! Why do you do that? Is there any chance for a buff?

Occasionally Kabam are right, but those ratings they give mean absolutely nothing until the entire player base get their hands on said champion.

His standard kit is annoying but manageable. He's the 5/5 defender we want as a community. There's a lot going on, some of it is situational but practically all aspects of it are answered by any champion.

Just wait until he's placed on a couple of War nodes or he's used in Everest / Aspirational content.

But to answer your question, of course there's an opportunity for a buff. He's going to go through the rebalancing phase just like everyone else and even aside from that there's technically always a chance for a buff. Look at Maw and Gamora, they were both buffed what, three times?

I completely agree with this.
These are the 5/5s we should have been getting all along not those bosses being packaged as regular champion releases.
In the context of those, high evolutionary is mid, but in the context of what 5/5s should have been he's perfect imo and kabam should lean further in this direction for 5/5s going forward

Keep in mind, he’s still quite new at the moment, wait till you see him on nodes like Aspect of Evolution, anti intercept/stun nodes, and power gain nodes. Plus he will be in the titan soon

agree completely, he’s got stuff you need to consider in his base kit. couple that with nodes, and maybe you need a hard or soft counter? classic defender development. NOT the recent spate of “need a hard counter from out of the box, and also extra suck once nodes are involved. which could be described as cash grab defenders…

They're not meaningless: those ratings are what Kabam is aiming for.

So if everyone is finding him surprisingly easy for a 5/5 Defender, then there's a good chance he'll get tuned up when his rebalance rolls around.

Its a W if a 5/5 turns out to be 4/5 defender, I'm all down for it lol. He is still new tho. We'll see how he performs.

The champs who kabam release as an attacker with 3/5 rating in defense, but they turn out to be a massive pain in the but defender. Better keep an eye out for those.

Technically both Evolutionary and Isophyne are free, but H.E requires grinding a gamemode, while we automatically got a free Isophyne from the calendar.

But i did face him a R2, wans't very hard and i used my R5 Nick Fury

My rant was about how much i was having problems being paired with whale accounts full of R3 and R4,not beating opponents of my level

In fact majority doesn't want him to be too much of new meta, but people also don't mediocre characters and his mediocre in both sides

And you will still face those players that's how matchmaking works, you fight people in your tier not how big or small the rosters are.
What kind of whale account is running r2 tho? Stronger roster will stay stronger, it comes down to players to increase thier roster strength.

Good, mediocre is better than advertised 5/5 defender. He is not introduced as attacker, so we are not missing that spot for future attackers.
