Here, it is mentioned that there is a chance to obtain Quick Silver and Omega Sentinel, who are Omega Champs. Does this mean that the Omega Champions will be added to Base Pool in the near Future? or Did I miss some announcement or so?

significantly less counters and even the majority of them dont work this meta due to the power gain

Nah. If they were gonna do it, they would have done it during the 1 year anniversary of said crystals during Banquet.
